“I checked into the hotel at 4:15 pm and my room was not ready. I never received a message that my room was ready. I went back to reception at 5:20pm and there was the longest line and I asked one of the employees if I needed to wait on that huge line to get my key, and she answered YES! She did suggest to speak to the Manager which I did…I still thought it was strange that I had to go so far as to speak to the manager just to get my key when I had already checked in. “Unfortunately, our stay at the hotel did not meet our expectations. The room we were first given was located right next to the elevator and the lobby bar, which caused significant noise throughout the evening. In order to move to a quieter room one floor up, we were required to pay an additional fee — something we found unreasonable given the circumstances. We had expected better service and understanding from the staff. ”

“We had a great stay here! Beds were comfy, location is near the swap meet which was nice. Only issues were that when we checked in, I guess they overbooked certain rooms. So everyone who had an upgraded King room was given a standard double bed. The shower would clog and the ice machine didn’t work. The TV and the in room phone also did not work at all, and when we tried to call the office using our personal phones, the line was disconnected. Also, the power kept going out! ”
