âFantastic hotel in Catania, we stayed at 3 different places ancross Sicily , two of them in Catania and this was by far the best. Super comfortable bed, amazing size for towels (as they should be), we got a bottle of wine as courtesy for our stay and the minibar was included in the price. The breakfast was also by far the best we had on the island (offered by a hotel). Unfortunately, we couldnât try the pool but it looked amazing! I really canât wait until Iâm back. â
âAmazing hotel, Friendly staff. Unfortunately the pool was not open "due to the season", the weather was 26â° and sunny, i would call that swimming weather no matter what month. We booked this hotel because of the pool. The rest of the hotels we visited during our trip had pools and they were open and highly used by the guests. Luckily we did other things instead during our stay.â

âPools and sun bed area by the ocean are amazing. Breakfast is good and the restaurants are decent. The service is not that great but I would not expect much more from a hotel in Sicily.
One thing that was a disappointment was the âboat serviceâ to Brucoli that didnât go a single day during our stay due to bad weather. However the weather was fine and instead we had to take a taci for 20âŹ.

âIt's a nice place to stay and relax at, I recommend you to book the spa facilities. We used it in the evening and it was very nice to watch the sunset over Etna from the pool. Breakfast was okay, and the staff very helpful but a bit too pushy to sell you more services or products. I'm guessing they where asked to do so by there manager.â

vi fick ett familje rum som var vÀldigt spartanskt men rent och snyggt.
DessvÀrre var sÀngarna sten hÄrda sÄ det blev lite stel morgon men vi pigga pÄ oss av en riktigt god hotellfrukost och mycket bra frukost personal som servade oss pÄ bÀsta vis.
Kan rekomendera restaurangen som lĂ„g i anslutning till hotellet som hade fantastisk god mat.â

"The hotel feels a bit old and worn out, although the staff at the reception are very friendly and helpful. The location is about a 30-minute drive from Catania city center, and without a car you are quite limited, since most restaurants are in the center. The breakfast staff are also very nice, though the male breakfast host clearly has his favoritesâhe runs over immediately to seat them and serve coffee, while we had to wait around five minutes just to get a table or order an espresso.
The food in the main restaurant is not very good, and the prices are extremely high compared to what you can get in Catania, where the food is excellent and costs about half the price. Other guests even warned us, and we later learned that the hotel changed its chef last year and significantly raised prices.
We have traveled extensively in Asia, the US, and the Caribbean, usually staying at high-standard hotels, and I have never before been asked to pay extra for sunbeds and umbrellas. At this hotel, however, guests are charged âŹ30 per day if they want to sit by the sea. The sunbeds by the pool are free, but the area is overcrowded.
Overall, I would rate this as a 3-star hotel rather than the advertised 4.5 stars.
