â+ Good location, a short walk to Town. We loves the lush garden , lots of birds incl Tucans. Nice pool.
- the Restaurant ( other owner?) there are much better breakfast options in Town.

âOur stay at The Maya Mountain Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The place is very cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful nature â exactly what we were looking for.
The staff are extremely kind and helpful, and a special thanks goes to Cesar, who truly went above and beyond. We had unexpected difficulties at the GuatemalaâBelize border and arrived very late, around 10:30 pm, but Cesar was still there waiting for us with a smile and made sure we felt welcome and taken care of. âWe enjoyed our time here! Our family of five stayed comfortably in the âone room family suiteâ which had a mini fridge and a microwave. The grounds have beautiful landscaping and the pool is very nice. This was a great spot for a home base while exploring all the ruins. â

âIf youâre going to the cayo district for a few days of adventure and truly want to experience the jungle as well as world class Belizean hospitality, please look no further.
The Crystal paradise resort truly has it all. From accommodations, scenery, hospitality, cleanliness, and value for quality, this place can not be rated highly enough. Not to mention this is one of the few fully Belizean owned family tourism business remaining in the region. Multiple generations of the Tutt family have put...

âGreat service, they were always nice and helpful. Laundry service quick. Clean, spacious rooms and comfortable bed. Good location - basically right on the main street so close to everything. The breakfast was extremely light: bananas, bread to toast and butter/jam and then coffee/tea/water. But they had a microwave that could be used anytime and a refrigerator in the room (much appreciated). I liked my stay and would stay here again if I went back. â

âWe stayed at their family villa. The house was clean, and it was a wonderful experience. Rose and her son Rodale were so kind and helpful. Rod showed us around the family land and the farm, and we drank fresh coconut water. We ate local foods prepared in a lovely setting on the property. We hope to be back some day. If you come, don't miss the ATM cave tour - amazing adventure!â

âRolson Hotel was a perfect place to stay while exploring Belize for a week vacation. The restaurant and bar were delicious, the staff was amazing and I would love to come back and spend more time here. If you are traveling to San Ignacio, make Rolson your place to stay â

âLove the lodge feel and extremely kind and helpful staff. Our family stayed for three nights. Since driving the last mile was a little challenging, we opted to have dinners every night at the Lodge. Great service and wonderful food, but a bit on the pricier side compared to eating in town. We did the ATM excursion through the lodge. Xuanantunich was so close, we opted to drive via our rental and hired a private guide for $50 on-site. We did tubing on-site which was a flat 30-minute walk about...

âCalico Jack's in a hidden gem in Belize! You really feel like you are in the jungle on their lush grounds. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and they clearly care about their guests. We loved the activities they offer, such as the zip lining only a 10 min walk from our room.
Be sure to stay for breakfast and order the Stuffed Fry Jacks, they were the best we had in Belize!
Our room was perfect for our large family and included three separate bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The roads...

âDominic is a wonderful, friendly host. Nabitunich a great rate for a tranquil place to stay. We were upgraded to a nicer, bigger room since there was a cancellation, so we truly appreciate that! Being able to eat dinner on site and the home cooked breakfasts are plus as well.â

âWe stayed in one of the cabanas and it was nice and spacious. The staff was friendly and the restaurant had good food, even if the service for breakfast was a bit slow. It has a really good location next to the Cahal Pech Archeological Reserve, which should not be missed. The hotel is on top pf a pretty steep hill, but the walk from town was not too bad, and you can easily take a taxi if you are not up for the walk. We had a rental car and from the lodge it was easy to reach Xunantunich and the...

"I only have positive things to say about this hotel. It exceeded our expectations. The location is PERFECT. Right next to all the tour operators, the town square, restaurants, the market, the bus to Xunantunich, etc.
The bed was really big and comfortable. Slept like a baby. During a month of travelling this was by far the best sleep we had. The room was quiet and dark as well, and AC provided perfect temperature for once.
The room was equipped with a fridge and a freezer, which we loved. It was so convenient. "
