“I had the pleasure of staying at the Mystic River Resort in Early June and the whole experience has made me fall in love with Belize. The property is immaculately maintained and incredibly clean, my room was upgraded free of charge which included a plunge pool on the balcony which definitely added to the experience !. “The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was great. The property's jungle setting and landscaping made me feel like I was in a jungle. And while not a nightly occurrence, having howler monkeys howling the first evening really set the tone to remind me I wasn't in California. A special callout to the staff at Fiona's restaurant, the food was great, but talking with the staff there was super fun. I would recommend Maya Mountain Lodge to anyone and everyone.”

“We stayed in one of the cabanas and it was nice and spacious. The staff was friendly and the restaurant had good food, even if the service for breakfast was a bit slow. It has a really good location next to the Cahal Pech Archeological Reserve, which should not be missed. The hotel is on top pf a pretty steep hill, but the walk from town was not too bad, and you can easily take a taxi if you are not up for the walk. “Absolute GORGEOUS many-acre property in the jungle. Living luxurious while in an an unspoiled area of jungle with 5 star service, F & B. I'm not sure how vacations get any better. Awesome pool for our 2 kids, too! 6 star experience. ”

“The property and House was clean and cool with AC! The staff was so much fun and thoughtful! We learned so much from Alfred and Dwight throughout our stay! We also did the big zip lines, repelling, and tight rope which was fun and beautiful! There is lots to do around the resort and it’s close to so many beautiful sights!”

“When we arrived we were met by Leo who was our contact for the entire stay. He was our bartender, waiter, and tour guide. Leo made our vacation memorable, he went above and beyond. The resort was beautiful and all the employees where friendly and did everything to make sure we were comfortable and happy. When we go back to San Ignacio we will be staying at this resort again. The food was amazing.”
