“An amazing place with a gorgeous view! Spotlessly clean and very modern. We only stayed one night, sadly, but I would have stayed two despite it being somewhat far from some tourist spots. The sun rises and sets on the other side of the building that this apartment is under so it never gets too hot. We were there in January so not so hot as in summer but still lovely and warm. As others have mentioned, Fred and the front team at Hotel Mar/Don Taco where you check in are really nice and helpful, they take you around to the secluded house that is owned by the brother of the hotel owner. You can park on site for free and it’s safe. 400m down to town where nice restaurants are available. Close by shops also for everything you need. “This place was awesome! It was a perfect location to Monteverde. We definitely recommend doing Abuela’s breakfast in the morning. The host was really responsive and the sunset over the Lou twins was beautiful. My 8 year-old daughter loved the park. It was a perfect place for her to run around, especially after a few hours in the car. The home was beautiful with easy check-in/out instructions. We would 100% stay again. ”

“The property itself was quite nice and the beach is great. However, we were battling cockroaches the entire time. We probably killed around 12 roaches. And we left bread on the counter for an afternoon and it was covered in tiny bugs. This is our mistake too, but the bugs were just too overwhelming. The owner is very kind and communicative. The only downside is the war on bugs during our stay.”
