“It was hard to find at first as the host nor her staff spoke english but once we were able to meet up with the property manager, he was very accomodating and everything went great. There is no parking in the area but the host provided a garage at extra cost. The place is beautiful, clean and very comfortable once you are inside but it is an uphill climb to get there through alleyways. However, I think it's worth it. “The house is dirty, smells humid, dust everywhere, no hot water after 1 minute of shower, no a/c, everything is old and outdated, sheets and towels were stained, it’s in the middle of nowhere in the jungle. We found a scorpion in the bedroom. The only good thing is who manages de property, that service is amazing and will help you get everything organized and scheduled, but the actual property is not at all how it seems in the photos. I definitely do not recommend staying here or would stay...

“Beautiful lodging but Getting to the property is difficult. Be prepared to climb lots of stairs. Pack light. Hotel next door only serves its own guests so you have to walk in the dark for food at night if you have nothing to cook. We were not prepared for this. If you prepare the stay will be nice. "Very friendly and helpful staff in both the restaurant and housekeeping. A special thanks to Rosmir, Ana, Jackline, and Lucas, just to mention a few. The rooms are quite simple, but they offer good value for money. San Juan is a calm and relaxing area to stay in. Beautiful view over the lake. It’s great to have breakfast included, very convenient. Although it would be great to see a bit more variety, especially when it comes to the egg options."
