“I traveled with my family to the Cumaceba lodge. We stayed for three nights and four days. We had an amazing Amazon experience! Our guide Dixon was fabulous! He made our stay even better by his experience and knowledge of the area, animals, and flora. The 2 to 3 excursions per day kept us busy and always wanting to find more wonders of the rainforest. I would truly recommend this lodge if you are wanting a hands-on experience of the Amazon.”

“Lacking basic necessities. Electricity limited to 4 hours a day. After 10PM the whole lodge goes pitch black in the middle of the jungle. No furniture in your room except for a bed with no cushioning and rough bedsheets. No hot water. Not even soap or a small mirror in bathroom. Rough unfinished wood on walls. Transport to lodge is done in boats in terrible dirty unsafe boats with no adequate life vests. Two hours on the river to get there. Water getting inside boat and driver scooping it out by...
