“Beautiful views in the morning. Great breakfast with incredibly kind staff. They also have their own Tuk Tuk that can take you down to the boat area to see the other villages or down into the town for only 15 Quetzales a person - or its about a 30 minute walk. ”

“Visitors must be aware of the steep, difficult climb from the main road. Fit folx in their 20s and 30s won't be too fussed, but we're pretty fit for our 50s and it was a real effort. Handrails leading up to the yurts would make an excellent safety addition. We stayed in the top yurt (#4) and the views are tremendous and worth the big climb. We requested breakfast delivery in the am and it arrived on time! Delicious. Recommend this relatively new destination!”

“Beautiful hotel, excellent staff and gorgeous grounds. The restaurant wasexcellent as well. We originally booked a place in San Marcos but the bathroom was not private or close. Santa cataria was much more peaceful. And the pools were wonderful.”

“Casa del mundo is very picture perfect but it didn't feel as authentic as some of the other places we visited. The food was average and quite pricy. We booked massage that wasn't very good, after quite a few attempts we managed to get a bit off money back at least. The jacuzzi was lovely. For unknown reason the paddle boards were broken,but we weren't told why and when we could use them. There is A LOT of stairs, so if you have issues with that it's not the best place for you. ”
