“Easily one of the best properties we have ever stayed at! A gorgeous example of adaptive reuse, with original 16th century convent ceilings and floors and beautiful award-winning decor throughout. The hotel is in a quaint hilltop village with private access to a castle and a winery a short hike away. The onsite restaurant is superb, with excellent food and staff. The front desk staff are also very kind and welcoming. Very comfortable bed and room with a very effective AC. You cannot go wrong...

“Väldigt fint hotell - utmärkt frukost - vacker utsikt - byggarbete pågår vid sidan om men det märker man inte så mycket av. trevligt bemötande både i receptionen och i restaurangen. En anmärkning: En frukost kom vi lite sent: kl 9.00 och då var buffén väldigt mycket utplockad redan fast frukosten är till kl 9.30 - de fylldes inte på vilket irriterade många gäster inklusive oss. Spa-et ganska liten men ändå ok.”

“What a gorgeous property! Received an upgrade to a corner suite which was not only large but had spectacular lake views. Felt like royalty. Dined at Le Relais where both the food and service were excellent. The hotel is adjacent to a funicular and an easy walk to town. The staff are wonderful. A truly fantastic stay. Highly recommended!”

“Great food, hospitality and scenery from the balcony. The complimentary tapas plate and Prosecco upon arrival made a great start. Dinner menue and lovely breakfast concluded the 5/5 rating. Only concern is if you bring heavy luggage and/or large car, then you're up for a workout or advanced driving chalenge :-)”

“Great service, Salvatore and Virginia especially made this a great experience. It's a Little off, hard to get to, but very peaceful and quiet. The wifi was terrible and didn't work most of the time which make the impression a Little negative, and when you pay 410 CHF per night, you kind of expect eggs to be included in the breakfast and not extra charged, very irritating. Cleaning staff was great, rooms were very Clean.”
