“Room was ok. Had a tad bit of an Oder. The bathroom section seemed to be redone which was nice. Room it’s self a little outdated and didn’t feel the most clean. The bed and bedding was nice. Pretty comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was nice, had a hot tub and slides for the kids attached. Great it was so close to cedar point and the breakfast was great! Everything was clean/ fresh/ nice and tasty. They even have a pretty cool pancake maker which was awesome....

“Room was nice, the breakfast was good, and everyone was friendly. The pool was fun but wow there was so much chlorine just the air around it burned the eyes lol I do wish the little shop at the register had dish soap to wash out the kid’s bottles as I forgot to bring any. It was nice to have the washer and dryer as well. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and would stay here again”

“Pool filter didn't work. The pool was gross! Filled with bugs, debris and swirling sunscreen and dead skin cells. This was addressed with the manager and she said she couldn't do anything but tell the aquatics department. The "Aquatics" department was a joke. It was a girl who didn't care about her job and was in no hurry to do anything productive. The way they addressed my concerns were walking around the pool with a net. I own a pool so I know how to run a filter pump system and the system...

“We would absolutely stay here again. It was a great location close to great restaurant options and pretty views of the downtown and water. In the reviews I read the biggest complaint was the noise level. You could clear as day hear any conversations of other rooms if you were in the hallway. Once inside our rooms it wasn’t as bad but we are pretty easy sleepers and other guests were very respectful.”

“Travelling with family for a one night stay just passing through Sandusky. Pictures did not do it justice. First of all the surroundings seemed a bit shady and felt generally unsafe. Room was worn down. Key machine was malfunctioning so check in took a long while. Internet access took forever which they blamed on the bad weather. People were being noisy late in the evening and no one seemed to care. Reeked of weed. Would not recommend for a family.”

“It is a business place with a pretty great atmosphere! I loved the hot breakfast options. The pool was heated and indoors. I think they use salt water instead of chlorine and I enjoyed that. I stayed in a king suite with my friend the night before going to Cedar Point. It's a great location for that. We were fully rested after making the trek from Illinois. My room was quiet. “We stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and both breakfasts were very good with a nice selection of food. The only minor issue was that the shampoo and conditioner dispensers were empty, but after we informed the front desk, the receptionist quickly brought replacements. “Each time we choose to visit the lake and occasionally due to unpredictable circumstances; this hotel is the only option to stay ! It’s always clean , proximity to the beach area , stores and restaurants. The hotel staff is always accommodating. The location is our favorite , especially being close to the freeway, for any emergency exits .The staff are always friendly, the rooms are clean and the lake view is amazing! If you’re like us and like nice things , this location is the place to be ....

“Beautiful place along Lake Erie. Love that it's in the water. Fun bar next door. Lots of places to walk or benches/swings to sit and enjoy the views. The sunset in the swimming cove was lovely. Nickel Beach down the road was nice ($7 parking) and cleaner than the beach by the hotel. Plenty of places to eat in Sandusky which is 11 minutes away. Typical breakfast, clean room and extremely comfy beds. Worth the stop!”
