Completely renovated and air conditioned 2 BR cottage with spacious Living room and Dining room. There is a coffee bar, Internet, a smart TV, a Laundry room complete with washer and dryer, as well as a cozy kitchen with full size appliances, microwave, dishes, pots and pans and other amenities. A full size air mattress is available upon request and at an additional charge. It boasts 2 beautiful private outdoor patios, grill and off street parking. This cottage is part of an urban farmette compound with chickens and roosters so fresh eggs are always available for a yummy breakfast. Come enjoy a little taste of country in the city.

Awesome home and location! We were greeter by Suzanne, the owner. She told us of how she lovingly restored it and curated the decor herself. The home was so comfortable and cozy in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again.

Close to lake

We needed somewhere to stay for a professional bass tournament and this house was perfect. We were able to park and charge 2 boats and we were very close to our tournament takeoff. Suzanne was very easy to get in touch with and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.

Sixtieth birthday celebration

Everything about our stay surpassed all expectations. Suzanne and David have created an amazing getaway for their guests. Their hospitality was 5 star. The attention to detail from supplies, extra bedding, coffee and tea bar, and my favorite… all the different lighting to set the mood for whatever you’re doing. Our entire party said they would live there if they could. Also, Pier W is a very short walk with lots of great food and things to do.

Ivy Cottage is amazing!

My best friend and I stayed at Ivy Cottage for our 31st annual Cedar Point guys' weekend. The cottage was beautiful and immaculately cared for, and in a great and convenient location in downtown Sandusky. Suzanne was very accommodating and extremely easy to deal with. I couldn't recommend staying here more.

Suzanne greeted us when we arrived and was friendly and informative on the cottage and the area. The Ivy Cottage was exactly as described. So much attention to detail on the decor and style. Was very convenient as it was located very close to locally owned restaurants. Would highly recommend.

Cozy Cottage

Ivy Cottage was even better than the description. It was super clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. Hot showers. Conveniently located to lots of stores and restaurants. We took a short drive over to Port Clinton to catch the ferry to Put in Bay. And Suzanne is amazing. She met us at the property; gave us some great tips on nearby restaurants and things to do (since our fishing trip was cancelled). She even had a couple delicious homemade cookies for us. I just can't say enough. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely plan to stay here again!!! It's a 10/10!

Stunning place!

This place is so beautifully done and has top tier cleanliness. I would highly recommend it if you are in the area! The owners are extremely pleasant and helpful! I would be cautious to stay here in the neighborhood alone. It’s not the safest of areas and would only suggest staying here if you have someone with you!
