Memorial weekend with kids.

We had a splendid stay at the B&B. We stayed in the Carriage house, which must have been renovated quite recently. It was exactly as described, but maybe even a bit better. A bit pricey, though, but it is probably due to its location. We were positively surprised about the high ambition level for the breakfast. We expected a buffé or similar but were served appetisers, entrees etc. Then only negative thing we can say about the place is that if children are not welcome, don't accept the booking or clearly state the policy at hotels.com. We truly understand that hotels and guests might want to have a non-kid policy, but since this was the first thing we were told when we arrived (with our two youngsters!), we didn't feel as relaxed about our stay as we wish we would have been.

We liked this place a lot. Nice, clean, friendly and a great breakfast. Close to the beaches and very nice resturants within walking distance.

Gillade: Personal och service

Cute vintage styled Bed and Breakfast. It’s very old, so it’s understandable that not everything is going to be in the best condition. The rooms were good and clean and the bed was comfy, but an area of improvement would be the dining experience. A few days, the mugs the coffee was served in were dirty and had floating debris in there, the forks had visible rust, we had ants in the jelly on the table, and the creamer was curdled. The food itself was delightful, but the lack of cleanliness made it hard to truly enjoy it because I always had to double check that the serve ware was clean and that the ants didn’t crawl into the food. The location of the property is idyllic. I’m glad we had this experience but I am not sure I would be back.

There was never any hot water in the shower. The room is advertised as having a bath - there wasn’t. A couple of things promised eg a local map and an early breakfast muffin didn’t appear.

The owners were very friendly. I loved the antique look and feel of the inn. This was my second stay at this inn and I feel like an upgrade to the mattress’s is in order. The bed was not comfortable at all! I also think a choice of breakfast would have been better. I would stay there again.

Good breakfast, nice charm in a good spot. The grounds could be a little more manicured. Very old wooden chairs outside should be tossed and replaced. And totally unreasonable to expect a guest to want to use a blow up hot tub with no filtration or chemicals; there's just no way to make that sanitary without changing water and scrubbing after each and every use. It's just clutter. Just like thinking a guest would use a sauna and massage chair in a cluttered garage .. hilarious. Good intentions but new owner needs to understand the way any distinguished guest would think

The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic and relaxing time. Breakfast was amazing every day, the room was perfect (king suite) and there is literally nothing else that could have done better. Highly recommend!
