Getting a trailer in and out of the drive was a challenge as the drive is narrow and the train bridge obstructs view of the road. “This place is great! Exactly how it’s described and designed for a quick stay! Perfect for Hatfield n McCoy trail riders! We stayed after our overnight investigation at The old Williamson Hospital! Loved it! ”

“Unfortunately, our room had significant issues. From the moment we entered, there was a strong mildew/musty odor. We reported it, but the hotel was sold out and couldn’t move us. As we settled in, we discovered the carpet was damp underfoot, the comforters felt damp, and the air was extremely moist. The window was painted/sealed shut and couldn’t be opened. “We had a fabulous time. Kitchen stocked you only need groceries. All bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious plenty of towels, linens, and cleaning products. Back patio is spacious, clean, plenty of seating, and so quiet. Just a few steps from the river. Our family was sad to leave.”

“We’ve been coming to HMT for about 6 years. The house was great. Clean. Well maintained. Host was readily available for any and all questions. Self check in. Love the central location between all of our normal trails. I gave it a 4 star over all because although it had free wifi there was no cellular service. For some of our crew it was difficult to keep in touch with family. The other issue was the couches were too low for our crew. I know they change to beds but sitting in them was difficult...
