"A charming and cozy small hotel with a welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast selection is modest but of good quality, and the pool area is pleasant and relaxing. However, guests should be cautious of the uneven tiles in the pool, as they caused cuts to my husband’s feet.
The hotel may be slightly overpriced for its overall standard, but despite this, we would still recommend it."
"This place is fantastic. The only negatives are the mosquitoes.. The hotel is located close to a creek. Hence the mosquitoes. They are providing anti-mosquito devices, but they’re not very effective.
The other negative thing is that there is a place across the street where people feed stray cats. A lot of cats. If you don’t like filthy cats, this may not be the place for you.
But again, the hotel itself is absolutely fantastic."
"Bahia Calpe was probably the best hotel I have stayed at in Spain. The room was perfect and clean. Big balcony with a marvelous sea view. The breakfast was the best I ever had in Spain and I do at least one trip every year to Spain. The staff in the reception was great. The people working at breakfast were amazing. And the location of the hotel was superb. Water pressure in the shower amazing. The only 2 bad downsides with this hotel are two.
The beds are rock hard. Not a good night sleep at all when u wake up with pain. And the loud atmosphere in breakfast area is terrible. This hotel should invest in some sound proofing materials. Like cushions under chair legs and other textiles to lower the volume in the room."
