If you are looking for a unique and relaxing stay, this is it. The houseboat was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we were hoping for. Being right in the marina made it incredibly easy to walk to everything or just walk the lake trail. The back deck was the perfect spot to start the day with coffee as the sun rises and end it with a cold beer watching the sunset.The hosts made everything easy; check-in and check-out were simple, and there were zero surprises or issues during our stay. We didn’t need to reach out for anything because it was all taken care of. We would definitely recommend this spot and are already planning to book again in the near future.

Everything about this House Boat rental was exceptional!!! Within minutes of my online rental, I was contacted personally by the host with detailed instructions about how to enter and to let me know he was available for any of my needs. I was traveling for a music venue and decided to take my mother along so, why not treat her to something nicer that a common Hotel. The two of us felt so comfortable and at home from the moment we entered. Unfortunately, we could only stay for one night. Both my mom and I wanted to stay longer! The bed was so comfortable I wish I could sleep on it every night. I will definitely be returning, hopefully in the near future!

Bomb 10 out of 10 Highly Recommend

Me and Husband celebrated our 15th Anniversary! We had an Awesome stay. The place is just like the pictures, very clean. Enjoyed the atmosphere, everyone was friendly enjoyed the turtles everyday. Mr. Jay was Awesome he walked me through the check-in very patiently and he responded very quickly and solved a small problem we had. Also try out the Riverboat Cruise it was awesome as well.

Beautiful little town with great eateries! The boat was very clean, it was nice and relaxing sitting out on the deck enjoying the turtles, birds, gators and fish. The only thing that I think needs to be looked at is the bed, It was very uncomfortable. We left a day early because we couldn't sleep in it any longer.

Best Waterfront Getaway

This houseboat is the absolute best getaway!!!! So adorable, wonderful area, conveniently located!!! The houseboat was super clean & had everything we needed for our relaxing weekend. We loved hanging out on the porch with the amazing view & wonderful breezes! We were greeted each morning by turtles, fish, & birds. I can't say enough about our host, Jay! He was super resonator& went above & beyond!! We'll definitely be staying again!! Thank you!!

Floating fun in the sun

We absolutely loved our stay at the little floating houseboat. It was such a lovely mini vacay……so cute and charming. The owners were so welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the historic area which is very near by, strolling along the river walk and also took a ride in the river boat. A delightful, relaxing way to spend a few days. I definitely recommend it.

A fun floating bungalow

This was our first time staying in a floating bungalow, and my wife and I had such a good time. The bungalow is kept very clean and organized and is such a nice place to stay. A big thank you to Jay and Teresa for being such good hosts and for answering the questions we had about the bungalow and our stay there. They were very helpful and replied promptly to our questions. Definitely recommended!

Recommend staying

Me and my wife had a wonderful time staying on the houseboat. I would stay there again and recommend anyone to staying there. The steak and seafood and Italian restaurant are just a very short walk away. We met a few people that have boats in the marina. They were very nice to speak with. The owner was very nice and allowed us to check in early and check out a couple hours late.

Sanford Houseboat

I just wish the upper outside deck was nicer. Bird poo and The plastic furniture is deteriorating and may break at any moment. The white plastic was getting on our clothes. We brought out the umbrella which was stored downstairs inside so a bit of a task. But otherwise We really loved it.

Great place - perfect tocation!

This was a little charmer! The property was immaculately clean and a very well equipped and supplied home with great AC and comfy bed. The bathroom was surprisingly bigger than I expected on a boat and the kitchen had nice full size appliances (small dishwasher but we did not use it) and plenty of cookware, utensils, dishes, glasses, etc. if one wanted to cook. Easy walk to many restaurants, bars, shops, nice long riverwalk. Great communication with the owner. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this sweet place!!

Getaway

We stayed 2 nights on the houseboat and enjoyed the quiet. WE enjoyed exploring the sweet town of Sanford and at eat a couple really nice restaurants. Plus, went out on the Barbara Lee for a dinner cruise what had a live band. We really enjoyed our time there.

Unique and relaxing stay

We were pleasantly pleased with the comfort and cleanliness that this houseboat provided. It had all comforts of home. The outside decks were a great place to relax and review our days events. The location made walking to downtown Sanford and all of it's shops and restaurants very easy. What a great stay we had and plan to come again.

Relaxing

It was great. Nice and quite. The gate was kind of a hassle. Could use curtains. Sunshines into bedroom in the morning and glares on tv. Saw a turtle and a gator. Then saw the gator eat the turtle.
