“The rooms are in desperate need of freshening up. Our curtains were held on to rail by plastic bags and the rug/upholstery were extremely stained. I know the property is old and full of history but they should definitely pay attention to some important details. It was dingy and not very welcoming.”

The rooms were well appointed and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was pretty small, but that's normal for such an old hotel. There's a step up into the bathroom, which was weird, so you have to remember that in the middle of the night if you get up to go to the bathroom.
Great little coffee shop in the front lobby and close to restaurants and shops....
