Best property we have stayed in!
This property was a wonderful stay! Kitchen was well stocked, TV’s, comfy furniture and beds, plenty of linens and towels. The lush landscape was beautiful and water features on the property were lovely. We enjoyed the hot tub as well. Our dog played on the front lawn and our car was safely garaged at night. Everything in the home worked properly and the management team could not be more accommodating and helpful. The WiFi was great and audio system throughout home was awesome as we love music. The location is so close to the ocean, offering great morning walks around the neighborhood. We would return to this property and stay again. Montecito is a great little town with shopping, restaurants and friendly people!

Family Vacation
There were 9 of us with plenty of room. The kitchen had everything we needed in the way of equipment and dishes. I received quick email responses to my questions from the realty company that handles the house. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the pool table. We ate all our dinners outside under the umbrella table. Downstairs bedroom’s bathroom was very small.

Good Stay at Channel House
Our overall impression is positive. Plenty of room for ten people. Kitchen is well equipped. Yard landscaping is beautiful. The following comments are not complaints, but suggestions to consider in order to make for a better stay. My wife and I chose to sleep in the downstairs bedroom. The two extra mattresses came in handy. One comment about upstairs: the swinging doors between the master bedroom and bathroom don't provide much privacy. The downstairs bedroom needs a dresser with drawers to handle a weeks worth of clothes. Toilet paper holder in bathroom needed tightening: I fixed it but should be checked. Sink didn't drain well until I pulled the stopper up with fingers. Should be checked. Put a comfy chair and the standing lamp from garage in the corner nook of bedroom. Not enough light to read using bedside lamps. Found decent ones that don't match in the garage. The shower floor is dangerously slippery, esp. for older folks. We thought the house had a water softener, but one of the service fellows said no. I asked him what the noisy water apparatus was on the outside wall. Fellow said he didn't know. At any rate, water would start gurgling through it at 6:15 a.m. Suggest adjusting timer. The gardeners started mowing and blowing before 9 a.m. on Friday morning. Suggest they do other chores and wait 'til 9 to start their engines. Bicycles in such disrepair they were un-rideable. But fixed promptly when requested. Respectfully, JfRi

Family Getaway
We had a family getaway over Memorial Day weekend and stayed in two homes. This house was large and spacious and gave us plenty of room for full family dinners, drinks outside and gathering. The house is lovely and has easy access to everything Santa Barbara offers.

Great family get away
Super nice quality place to stay.. Our whole family really enjoyed this Montecito home. It was super clean, safe and beautiful. We had no problems and the location is excellent with walkable access to the beach and quick driving access to shopping, zoo, wharf and breakwater locations. The yard was private with a nice jacuzzi and beautiful koi pond. We had a great time and would highly recommend this rental property.

Fantastic Location
Loved our stay. The location is quiet and perfect if you want to pop to the beach or into Santa Barbara, but just removed enough to feel secluded and special. The house is well laid out and comfortable. Communication with management was exceptional. We did have several people in our party with animal hair allergies and they did experience some reactions. We did find animal hair around, so maybe it was just an off day for the cleaners.

Fantastic Location in Montecito
My husband and I had a lovely stay at this home. Check in and communication with the property managers, especially Viki and Lydia from VROSB was very smooth and I appreciated their assistance while we were there. The house is perfectly located near Butterfly Beach and close to Montecito Village and was well stocked and appointed. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful space with a magical yard
What a gorgeous property!! We loved sitting outside and listening to the fountain, seeing the fish, cooking on the grill, and the kitchen was spectacular for preparing big family dinners — awesome inventory of tools and everything nicely organized. Beds were comfy, house was pristine, pool table and ping-pong were great activities for the kids; and obviously the location is phenomenal. Thanks for a wonderful stay — we felt very lucky to be here!

Montecito stay with family
Great house walking distance to Butterfly beach. Loved the hot tub, ping pong table & spacious master bedroom. Really enjoyed it with adult children. They should add a propane out fireplace or some patio heaters outside so easier to eat dinner outside.

Great location, so much sleeping room
The dog-friendly beach is just a 5 minute walk down a beautiful bike path with amazing landscaping from the Beanie Baby billionaire neighbor. If my sister-in-law had known how much sleeping room was available in this house, she wouldn't have rented her own hotel room. There are teen-sleepable couches in three separate rooms, plus an enormous master walk-in clost that can also host teens. Every amenity was available, except an icemaker -- but the ice trays were all full, so no problem!

Beautiful Home
We loved our stay in this beautiful home. We were a family of 6 and had plenty of room to enjoy time together and time apart. The yard is so relaxing with a waterfall, Koi pond and jacuzzi. Everything was sparkling clean. There is a large kitchen very well equipped and large dinning room to share dinner together. It is a great walk score location to the beach. Short drive to upper or lower village. And the management team was very attentive to make sure our stay was perfect.

Graduation Celebration
We stayed four days in this beautiful property. It is a short walk to Butterfly Beach and the shops and restaurants of Montecito. We were there to celebrate a college graduation and the house was perfect for the six of us. The property managers were very attentive and made check in and check out very easy. Family gathering
A beautiful, well-appointed home with all the comforts. A short but lovely walk to the beach with bikes, towels and toys provided. Spaces inside and outside for being together or separate. The koi pond is a beautiful feature, however requires eyes on for your little ones all of the time.

Wedding In Montecito
We stayed at the Channel house for our daughter’s wedding. We were able to comfortably host the bridesmaids the day of the wedding for makeup and hair. The house was clean and comfortable for our family . The dishwasher was broken and we reported it, it was not fixed during our visit, which was an inconvenience. We requested and received no discount for the inconvenience. The location is excellent for access to Montecito or Santa Barbara.

Wedding Weekend Stay
This property is breathtaking! It was the perfect place for the bridal party to stay the weekend of my wedding. The huge open kitchen made it wash for group meals and the game room was hit! Loved the hot tub and all the space in each room. Highly recommend this place for big groups

Wonderful Home
A wonderful home with incredible amenities and in a great location. The home is in pristine condition with plenty of room and things to do. The yard and patio might be the highlight, though, as it was a great spot to enjoy the nice weather. This is a great place to stay and I will absolutely check for its availability the next time I’m staying in Santa Barbara.

A Wonderful Family Get Away
Well appointed, beautiful outdoor living areas, the koi pond was serene, and the hot tub was a perfect size. The a/v system was a nice addition and the ping pong table was a blast. The location was perfect and we will certainly consider renting again. Only small complaint was not enough coffee cups...

Incredible property, fantastic amenities
The house was even better than we expected! Our 2 year old loved the koi pond (he named the giant fish Lola) and even the bikes were high quality in great shape. The beds were comfortable and the linens were good quality cotton, the kitchen had everything we needed (even ziplocks!). We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation, we even extended our stay two days since we didn’t want to leave.

Getaway Stay
We rented the home from Monday through Friday during the election as it was a stressful time. This home offered a peaceful sanctuary for us, our kids and our friends who came with us. The location is heavenly... only a 5 minute walk to the beach! Truly a gem. We will be back. Also the kitchen was great for cooking and the pool table was a fun touch!

Great Property Great location
The house was comfortable, well appointed, and organized. Point of clarification on the listing: the house has air conditioning only in the second floor. While it is cool in the evening, expect it to be warm downstairs during hot weather. The house has a fantastic control system installed which for the most part works well. There is no way to play your own music using the homes’ system - so if you like to play music from your phone - bring a wireless speaker. The house managers are very nice but didn’t seem to know much about the operation of the systems/ items in the home. You are basically on your Own if you have any difficulty on a weekend. Overall we loved the house and the property, amazing location with easy access to the beach, as well as the town of Montecito.

Great location. Great house for multiple couples
Great access to beach and bike paths of the bird refuge. Layout of house is great for multiple couples as there is a first floor suite in addition to the upstairs bedrooms. Spent a lot of time with our son playing ping pong/billiards. Nice enclosed garden with great landscaping, hummingbirds, butterflies and rabbits. Thank you!

Family Getaway
This was a wonderful home for our family vacation/birthday celebration. The grounds are beautiful with many special places to sit. We were there with our sons and their families that included a 4 year old and 2 infants. The blue living area was perfect for setting up a play area. The walk to the beach was a short .6 mile flower lined walk. Close to Vons. Coast Village and State St.

Great rental for a big family
The location and house itself were great! We loved being able to walk to Butterfly beach, East beach, and lower Montecito. The house was spacious and comfortable for the whole family. We enjoyed the hot tub and playing pool and ping pong too! It had all the beach gear we needed and the bikes were great too. The only downside to the property is the washer and dryer. They are both very old and very small, which made washing and drying towels very difficult and frustrating for a large family. Considering we went to the beach every day, we had a lot of towels to wash and dry and it took forever.

Spacious, well-designed retreat with fabulous kitchen
Our family of four adult couples have rented this house for six years. The location is quiet and a very short walk to serene Butterfly Beach, and within a walk-able mile to Montecito shops and restaurants, and a couple of miles to bike or drive to the center of Santa Barbara. The primary attraction for us is the spaciousness and thoughtful design of bedrooms, indoor common space and multiple outdoor spaces. The four bedrooms are located far enough from the common areas for quiet and privacy. We enjoy all gathering in the large and well-equipped kitchen while preparing meals or watching the activity. Many of the kitchen accessories were upgraded this year. Various sized spaces around the house allow for both larger group activities and smaller nooks for intimate conversations or reading. We also enjoyed the numerous outdoor spaces.

Amazing property!
The property exceeded our expectations and was perfect in every way! We gathered as a family to celebrate Thanksgiving and our 40th wedding anniversary! Fabulous home!
Great, immaculate home with an amazing location! Really roomy, beautiful gardens and patio. Bikes available plenty of linens, kitchen well stocked! Will stay at this home again!

Fabulous Vacation Home
We thoroughly enjoyed spending a week in this beautiful home! It was absolutely perfect for the 10 of us! It was very spacious, clean and comfortable! We would definitely stay again!

Family reunion
Wonderful property! Location to the beach, just a short stroll along stunning homes, is perfect. Walk to the Four Seasons. Having all the bikes was great, easy ride to downtown Santa Barbara. Close to grocery stores and the lower village of Montecito. Sleeps 7 comfortably. Note that there are 2 master bedrooms, one up and on main level, Well stocked kitchen, bedrooms have all sheets, blankets, towels and toiletries. Nice to come and not have to worry about these types of items. Will visit again!

Ideal location
This is the second summer we have rented this home. The yard is lovely, the house roomy and comfortable. Love the pool/ping pong table!! Location couldn’t be better-walking distance to the village shops and restaurants and to butterfly beach!

Family Montecito Vaca
Lovely home with lots of amenities. Our family including three grandsons ( six years and younger) enjoyed the koi pond, hot tub and the large grass area for running around. We also spent hours playing ping-pong in the game room.

The property was great for our stay in Santa Barbara, the neighbors were very quiet!
Four couples and grand kids, just right! Close to downtown and the beach, house was very spacious. The only negative was lack of corkscrew and checkout was a bit early.

Book this place!
We booked very late for Labor Day Weekend but totally lucked out to this amazing house. The location is perfect. The description does not give it justice, everything is amazing. It's like your rich aunt gave you the keys for the weekend to her mansion by the beach. The house easily handled 3 couples and assorted friends. It actually felt huge. We laughed cause it took us a day to find one of the bathrooms (it's under the stairs). The location, the setting, the proximity to the beach all fantastic. We found everything we needed in the kitchen, the yard and hot tub and koi pond all amazingly relaxing. We barely left the house because we loved it so much. At night you can hear the waves from the house. We are already planning on booking again.

Lovely Montecito home close to the beach!
We had an amazing two weeks. The house and garden are even better than the pictures! We couldn’t ask for a better location and the hosts were super responsive. We’ve already booked for next year.
