Välkommen till det perfekta familjesemestermålet! Vårt charmiga 4 sovrum, 2 badrum hus är RÄTT på stranden. Inga promenader över gatan eller körning för att komma till stranden. Du kan se barnen leka i sanden medan du kopplar av och spelar kort från däcket. Vi är det enda huset på "Island" -remsan med ett gated däck. Det är det perfekta huset för en minnesvärd semester, familjeåterförening eller bara en oceanisk flykt! Samma familjer har besökt vårt hem i över 10 år och fortsätter att föra de kommande generationerna för en verkligt minnesvärd familjetradition.

Det här grekiska stilen från 1930-talet erbjuder 4 rymliga sovrum som alla har utsikt över havet, en mysig öppen spis för att hålla dig varm under vintersäsongen, ett stort underhållningsdäck nere och ett mer intimt däck på övervåningen. Inkluderat är också en tvättmaskin / torktumlare, diskmaskin, 2 tv med DVD-spelare och gratis WIFI.

Rio del Mar Beach: Visa delfinerna och sälarna som simmar upp och ner i havet under promenaderna på stranden. Ta med din kikare för valskådning! Andra aktiviteter inkluderar boogie boarding, surfing, simning, skalning och att bygga sandslott. Det är den perfekta lekplatsen för alla!

Promenader till affärer: Gångavstånd till marknaden, kafé, deli och Cafe Rio Restaurant. En kort bilresa till livsmedelsbutiker och teatrar.

  • Nice, long hike today. Went down the Bridge Creek Trail, and then to Maple Falls. About an 8-mile total hike. Redwoods everywhere you look, and a deep dark forest that gave lots of 'mood'. We came across a tiny snake! It was just a few inches long, red back, sunning itself on a rock in the middle of the creek.

Gorgeous Getaway

The location of this property is spot on. Semi easy access to the beach. Privacy is awesome. Walking the boardwalk is easy and fun. Plenty of room inside the house. All the supplies were provided. The patio is the best on the block. The kitchen water pressure was. low but the showers worked fine.. Best part were the gray whales, birds migrating almost every day, seals swimming very close to the shoreline and the weather. Thank you for the memories that we made this week.

Yaya’s 60th Birthday!

We truly enjoyed the location - right on the beach. The pictures look like the place is just a bit bigger - we had 8 adults and 3 littles - and wish we had a bigger living area and kitchen. The rooms were perfect. And I would imagine during the summer you’re outside most of the time. We loved that we could step out the door and be within feet of the beach.

The place was shabby and tiny. Only the view was lovely but we were so close to the ocean that waves went over the deck to scare us. We made an emergency exit plan We were 7 and it was advertised for 8. Only 6 chairs around the dining table. Only 4 places to sit in living room which was on top of the dining table. No entry mats but lots of signs not to bring in sand. Lights flickered in liVIng room all thetime.

Perfect View

Enjoyed our Thanksgiving break with daughter and family in a perfect location. The views of dolphins swimming by every day and beach access for the grands to play in the sand and frolicking in the water was excellent! House was cozy and clean and met our needs.

Right on the sand!

This was a wonderful property that had ample room for all seven of us. Parking was easier than expected and check-in went well. This delightful little property is right on the beach. The waves are just outside your front room windows and you are enveloped in the whole seaside experience. The property was pristine clean, and Jaleh was very responsive to any concerns we had. It’s unfortunate that the weather just wasn’t going to cooperate with us though, but Jaleh was very kind and accommodating and quickly responded by reimbursing us for a day lost to a dramatic storm. We definitely hope to return again.

Great Location and Wonderful Experience.

Because of a very large and unusual storm, the wifi did go down a couple of times. Other than what the storm caused, the visit was perfect. My 14 year old grandsons spent many hours exploring the beach and town. My 93 year old mother in law really enjoyed the view from the patio and a very enjoyable walk along the shoreline. My entire family left the home all saying that it was a great trip well worth the price. We highly recommend this property to antone wanting to spend time on the beach.

Amazing beach front location!

We had a lovely stay at this house. The location is amazing, our kids had so much fun playing on the beach. The house itself is comfortable. It has a beautiful deck. We did experience some issues with electrical outages, but the owner was very responsive (even on Christmas Eve), and someone came to fix it immediately.

Location can’t be beat!

We enjoyed every aspect of this house. The location is wonderful. The four of us had ample space to have private time. The primary bedroom downstairs is very nice and the bathroom is beautiful. My husband and I didn’t feel comfortable using this bathroom downstairs so had to go upstairs to use the one attached to our bedroom during the day. This house would be great for two couples with kids. We also enjoyed the neighborhood and the walking trail. You won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful spot for friends getaway!

The location and quaintness of the house was better than we expected. Definitely better in person! We visited for a girls getaway and had just the right amount of space to be together but not on top of each other. We enjoyed the expansive view from the living room and sitting on the deck watching the ocean. Great area for taking short or long walks. The kitchen is adequately equipped and we had enough storage space. Communication with the owner was easy and I received quick responses to my inquiries. We would definitely love to visit again!

Right on the beach

This is perfect for a person with a health condition - bedroom, bathroom, kitchen are all on the first floor, and the sand is 10 steps from the sun deck. There are plenty of people walking on the public path between the deck and the sand - we enjoyed that. The owner was very helpful.

Perfect location

Great beach house with an amazing porch right on the beach. Stocked with beach chairs and sand toys. Even had a pack’n’play. Dishwasher as well as laundry we’re much appreciated. Worked out great for our group but notable that the 2 bathrooms are only accessible through 3 of the 4 bedrooms so guests or whoever gets the 4th room with the daybed are going through someone’s room to use it.

A PERFECT Staycation

We live 15 minutes south of this property, but it's a part of Santa Cruz that we rarely visit. To stay RIGHT ON THE BEACH with walking distance to great hikes, stores and restaurants, we truly felt like we were on vacation far from home! The convenience of the home and amenities that are included made it extra easy to bring very little and enjoy our stay much more! Jaleh was a pleasure to work with.

Great location and private deck

Our family had a wonderful time at the house, the location is great for the kids to get to the beach. We saw dolphins and seals most days right out the big window. Our kids loved the room with the bunk beds and having their own space upstairs. The beds were comfortable and the raised deck was nice and provided added privacy. It’s definitely one of the best outdoor spaces along the walking path!

Nice house on the beach, NO parking!

Great access to the beach, nice upper and lower decks for viewing the beach and ocean, and well supplied and stocked house. If you like your neighbors very close and people walking close by your windows, you will love this house.

An Absolutely Ideal Family Reunion Spot!!

We were a family group ranging in age from under two up to 81 and we ALL had a wonderful time here!! Being able to enjoy the sea views -- whales, dolphin, seals/sea lions and thousands of birds!! what an exciting time!! -- from inside, from the lovely porch and, of course, from the sand just outside the door!! We certainly hope to be back!!

Disappointed but happy

The location and view was wonderful. The house turned out to be smaller than the photos implied and with 8 adults and one disabled, it was not a good choice for us. A narrow and small galley kitchen made it impossible for our several cooks to operate together. The place is charming and would be good for a single family, just not for 4 couples.

Beach house

Our family loved our stay at this beach house. We loved the deck, which is the only one on this strip of houses that is raised and railed off from the public walkway. Would highly recommend especially if you have small children that like to wander because they can.
