“I thought the room was really excellent and the details, from the kettle to the shower were really top of the line. My only complaint was that the super inviting walk in shower, with the giant shower head, had very weak water pressure - it was a real disappointment.”

“I normally do not leave bad reviews, but this place was honestly unacceptable. As soon as we arrived, we got a bad feeling. The outside property looked completely trashed with garbage everywhere and broken appliances left around. We tried to ignore it and hoped the cabin itself would be better, but it was just as bad inside. The cabin looked like it had not been properly cleaned in a very long time. The bedding had mysterious stains on it, the floors were filthy and looked like they had never...

“Location is everything! Just off the main shopping/restaurant street in downtown Capitola and a 1 minute walk to the beach. Comfortable stay with everything we needed. My only suggestion would be a different heating system for the downstairs living area. It never warmed up. The floor heaters worked great upstairs. ”

“Fantastic being in the redwoods. Highlights were the deck and the fire pit. House well set up: 4 bedrooms with nice beds, kitchen was better set up than rental-only properties. Hosts communicative, check in and check out were easy. Overall- great base for a hiking weekend!”
