Fresh and clean hotel with amazing breakfast
Hotel Minerva is a prime example of how a perfect hotel should be. Amazing breakfast with alot to choose from, amazing service, close to restaurants and Portofino/Rapallo/Cinque terre. The cleaning is excellent, AC is good. Hotel Minerva is without a doubt where I would be staying when I come back. Recommend this hotel for everyone. Thank you very much Frederika & co.

Trevligt medelklass hotell
Trevligt hotell till bra pris. Bra alternativ till att bo i Portofino. Hotellet har en mycket trevlig takterrass med en liten pool. Be om ett rum högt upp.

Bra frukost!
Frukosten var riktigt bra och personalen trevliga! Rummet var fräscht men man ser rakt in i duschen från sängen, i så roligt om man vill ha lite privatcy.

Great stay at Hotel Minerva
We had a great stay in hotel Minerva. The staff was nice and helpful, a big plus with the garage and help to park. The breakfast (in the beautiful garden) was lovely.

Fantastisk frukostbuffé som man kunde äta i en trädgård. Bra service av familjen som äger hotellet. Läget mycket bra.

Vi hade ett standardrum vilket var litet och omodernt vilket medförde att vi spenderade så lite tid som möjligt på rummet. Vid incheckning blev vi dock erbjudna ett större rum med samma rabatt som vi erhöll vid vår bokning. Med facit i hand borde vi kanske inte ha avböjt det erbjudandet. Personalens gästfrihet, frukosten i trädgården och hotellets läget, centralt i Santa Margherita med närhet till restauranger och hamnen, i kombination med priset gjorde dock at vi var väldigt nöjda med vår vistelse.

Frukosten är perfekt!
Frukosten var den bästa på vår resa genom italien. Jag bokade ett rum och önskade balkong, men det fick jag inte. Rummet var väldigt litet och inte modernt, men det gav oss allt vi behövde. Förvänta er inget lyxigt utan det är små rum med omodern inredning. Ägarna var väldigt trevliga och tillmötesgående. ni behöver inte köpa parkering i deras garage då det finns gratis parkeringar runt om hotellet. Det är en kort promenad till "centrum" och läget kändes bra och tryggt. Väldigt fin SPA-avdelning på taket, rekommenderas! Kommer att bo där igen men kommer välja ett större rum.

We booked this hotel last minute on our travel back to France from Venice and we are SO happy we found it. The staff were wonderful and attentive and helpful. The terrace and pool was lovely with a gorgeous view of the sea and a small gym. The morning breakfast was beautiful and generous and the garden patio we sat in was beautiful. We wish we could stay longer but will absolutely be back. Thank you to the staff for hosting us and making this stay so memorable and relaxing. Highly recommend. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable and we had a cute balcony with a view as well. Air conditioning worked great. Very easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I don’t often take time to write reviews but this hotel very much deserved it. Thank you thank you :) we will definitely be back and will be staying much longer.

Hotel Minerva is perfectly located for walking into town to the shops and restaurants but also away from the noise set a few streets back. The staff at the hotel are just amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely and there was a good selection to choose from. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning worked beautifully. I would highly recommend staying here (and I am a fussy guest!)

Hôtel agréable dans un joli village
Hôtel bien situé, possédant un parking privé fermé. La petite chambre est suffisante et pratique. Le personnel est à l’écoute et parle français. Plusieurs petits bars dans le village ,mention spéciale au Sabot. Aller à Portofino à pied (5 km plat) en longeant la côte permet de profiter de beaux paysages et de découvrir le village de belle manière. Le retour à Santa Margherita en bateau est une bonne option. Personnellement j’ai préféré loger à Santa Margherita et aller à Portofino que l’inverse . Portofino est très esthétique, un décor de cinéma, mais tout petit, les tarifs sont plus élevés et il y a énormément de touristes. Mais c’est incontournable !

The staff at Hotel Minerva was fabulous. They went above and beyond to help us, recommending places for all sorts of activities. The breakfast served in the garden, had lots of variety and was delicious.

Exceeded my expectations of 3 star.
Lovely, cosy hotel. The reception staff is amazingly efficient and attentive. Bed is very comfortable, kettle and iron were given on request. Pleasant descent from the hotel to the main road with beaches and restaurants. I will choose this hotel again for a solo or a couple stay.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Das Hotel ist hervorragend geführt, alles perfekt sauber und gewartet. Sie sind sofort auf unsere Bedürfnisse eingegangen, da wir Mobilfunk-Strahlungssensibel sind. Wermutstropfen waren die Corona-(FAKE)- Massnahmen, die dem Hotel kein Frühstücksbuffet erlauben und ihnen und den Gästen damit unendlich viel Aufwand und Mühe bereiten.

Wonderful Property, Great Staff. We'll Be Back!
This is a terrific little hotel nestled upon a small hill just off the main road. It's very close to shops and restaurants and has wonderful amenities. The staff is exceptional and very attentive. I would guess that this may be a family ran hotel as the apartment in the courtyard is home to one of the terrific employees we met. The roof top spa is a MUST after a long day of walking/hiking. We walked to Portofino and hiked the Cinque Terra using this hotel as our base and the sauna, steam room and essential oil infused shower was a life saver. It's free to guests and just requires a reservation the day of. The spa experience was icing on the cake! Breakfast was perfect, nothing too fancy, just all the right stuff to get you started for the day. Again, the staff was always helpful and attentive. Our room was comfortable yet small as most are in the area. We had a little terrace overlooking the courtyard and surrounding homes on the hill. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends!

A wonderful experience!
Very nice hotel. Off the beaten path and noice free. Rooftop deck with a large spa, sauna, steam room and exercise bikes overlooking the city. Breakfast was included, and boy was it specular! I'd highly recommend this hotel as the staff was incredible!

Tres bonne expérience mais pas de double vitrage..
Super hôtel. Il ne manque que du double vitrage dans la chambre. La nuit, la rue peut être bruyante. Sinon le service est top! Le petit déjeuner est incroyable et la propreté est fantastique. Globalement c’est une super expérience dommage pour le double vitrage. Le rooftop avec jacuzzi amène l’hôtel au top

Amazing Gem
Such friendly staff throughout the hotel. They couldn’t do enough to make your stay a success. They lend you an umbrella if it rains through to beach towels when you want to swim in the sea or the lovely roof top jacuzzi. I would go back in an instant.

We extended our stay with one night because we liked sml so much and the hotel was a perfect place for us as base while traveling around cinque terre and Portofino. Nice clean and the breakfast was amazing!! The breakfast also had a big selection of vegan and gluten free products which I highly enhanced.

difficult to find tucked up a small residential road. Very basic hotel which was all we could get in the area at short notice. Lobby and common parts were underwhelming to say the least. The room was basic and although the bathroom has obviously recently been refitted it was hopeless with such a small bath and no room in which to shower without becoming tangled up in the shower curtain. the rooftop area was the best part of this hotel and the breakfast was very good

Great hotel!
We spent one night at the hotel and had a great stay. The room was nice and clean, and the breakfast in the morning was amazing. The staff was really friendly and welcoming, we got to check in early and got plenty of advice of what to do in the area. It’s well located to explore the town and convenient ferry and bus services are available to go to Portofino and other places in the area. Would definitely stay again!
