“Accomodations as described, no AC but fans ok. Property is gorgeous, owner on site and very friendly, beautiful scenery and hiking trails... A TRUE ranch experience! Meals a bit pricey for what was offered, but there is a full kitchen. Note, keep all food in fridge due to ants, this is mountain life! Pool was pristine unlike others where we stayed previously. We would definately return! We would definately return.”

“This is a great place, but there’s a couple of things you need to know before renting.First, if you can’t tell from the pictures, only the bedroom and bathroom are enclosed, the kitchen is completely open – no screens. That means bugs – it's Costa Rica after all. No mosquitoes, but beetles, flies, little flying things, and the occasional millipede. “Once we arrived at this property we were very excited to stay here. The house itself is quite unique and had a fantastic view of the jungle below. The porch overlooking the jungle was a great place to relax and watch nature. We saw toucans, humming birds, butterflies, and fireflies in the tree tops at night. “This place was truly incredible and exactly what we were looking for. There is a private waterfall and swimming area that you HAVE to take advantage of. In addition to the scenic beauty of the entire property they had a very friendly chocolate lab named Elly who came to our villa every day and sat with us for hours.
