“Vackert inrett och mycket välstädat hotell, fin trädgård, trevlig personal. Området intill är ganska " slummigt" och strandremsan direkt nedanför är inte den bästa. Men det är gångavstånd till vackra Playa Carrillo. Och längre bort på stranden = närmare samhället Samaea är stranden ok Samara”

“Large clean room, nice bed. Small but nice pool. Amazing location. We stayed “all inclusive”. The food was a bit below expectations at such a quality hotel, and many dishes on the menu was never available. The staff was rather unstructured, late to take orders, forgot orders taken, delivered starters at the same time as main dish etc. Having said that, almost all the staff was always smiling and really tried their best. The drinks were ok. ”

“Our stay at Hotel Amira was beyond expectations and exceptional. The location and the staff, especially the hotel manager, went above and beyond to make our stay more than comfortable. The location was great. Several choices of restaurants nearby and close to beaches. Having stayed at many places in Costa Rica I would highly recommend Hotel Amira as a great place to stay.”

“Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

“Our host Jason went out of his way to ensure we had a good stay at his place. We had support in getting to use a local pool, with groceries and transportation to our next location to mention a few. If you need local insights and super hospitality then go with Jason. The location is in a quiet local neighbourhood and it feels safe to have kids running around outside.
