“A nice stay on Madeira. Everything was fine with our stay, very cute cottage. Few things. It was extremely humid, and had a very strong smell. We ran the two dehumidifiers constantly, but there could have been ones in the bedrooms to help with the smell more. There was a cockroach in the one bedroom upstairs, and an old car in the driveway that made getting in/out more difficult on a blind road. Overall just little issues.”

“So comfortable and cosy. We stayed in the studio which was clean, had everything you could need and was decorated well. The bed sheets and toiletries smelt amazing. The owners put a lot of care into making sure it was a home from home. They also bought us freshly baked bread and homemade jam, delicious. We loved the poncha bar around the corner, too. Great location, about 10 minutes drive to Porto Moniz and on the route out to the fanal forest”

“Das Haus liegt zwar mit tollem Ausblick in einem schönen Garten. Es ist allerdings feucht und es riecht nach Schimmel. Leider hatten wir auch eine Maus zu Gast, die wir bis zum Ende nicht mehr los wurden. Bei Starkregen kam das Wasser aus der Decke. Schade, denn das Haus wĂ€re sonst sehr schön.”
