“Hello, we are a family of 4 from South America. We stayed at the Piccolina Vacation Home and it was excellent. Very nice place with nice kitchen and bathroom. Nearby there is a little Piazza to get a coffee, pizza and to do laundry. Also, very friendly neighbors and a supermarket nearby. There is a bus stop just a couple minutes away that takes you straight to downtown to see the Sassi. Great place!”

“We loved the place. It is spacious and surrounded by trees. It is very central. Pino kept us well-supplied with logs for all three fireplaces. There are some minor inconveniences: hot water tends to be intermittent upstrairs while internet reception is hopeless (except in sitting room) though that seems to be the case in the whole georgraphical area. We still recommend it highly”

“After a tour understanding the history of the caves in Matera, it is a humbling experience to stay with all the modern amenities of electricity, running water and yes, internet! “Property is conveniently located just outside of Conversano and served as a great base site for day tripping through the Puglia region. Initially, it is somewhat difficult to locate as the property is gated without clear signage. However, the host responded quickly to provide clear instructions and met us at the gates. “Wunderschönes, kleines Höuschen, mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet. Alles vorhanden, was benötigt wird und darüber hinaus Wasser, Kaffee, gekühltes Bier, Gewürze, Spül- und Waschmittel... Next time in Matera I will stay here again

"it is a wonderful experience to stay in this stylish cave hotel. The design of the room is beautiful and the location is perfect right in the Sassi. The staff pick you up at the place where you park your car and take you and your bags straight to the hotel . Very convenient. The give you great information when you arrive where to go and how you can spend your days to make the most of your stay in Matera. In the hotel they have saves a lot of the original cave structure and has lit up the rooms very nicely- The beds are comfortable and the room we have was very spacious and had room for 4 people. The breakfast is OK with fresh fruits, yougurts , bread, cheese, ham and pastries. "
