I arrived shortly after the official check-in time and was told I would need to wait because the apartment was not ready. That alone reflects a failure in basic property management and guest preparation. Unfortunately, it became clear upon entering that the property had not been properly inspected before our arrival. The cleaning appeared rushed and incomplete. We found hair in the sinks, sticky countertops, a disheveled couch, and wet towels in the bathroom. These are issues that should have been obvious during even a basic pre-arrival walkthrough. The lack of oversight extended beyond cleanliness. Essential supplies such as dish soap and paper towels were missing. The coffee station contained an opened single-use coffee packet and very little sugar, suggesting inventory was never checked between guests. Several maintenance issues were also left unresolved. The Wi-Fi was effectively unusable throughout our stay, and both bathroom light fixtures flickered constantly, making the bathrooms difficult and uncomfortable to use. What is most concerning is not any single issue, but the overall lack of attention to detail and quality control. Problems with check-in readiness, cleanliness, supplies, and maintenance all point to a property that is not being adequately managed or inspected. I would strongly encourage the owners to implement proper oversight and ensure the home meets a basic standard of readiness before welcoming guests.
