“This is a room to remember! It is apparently new judging from the pristine condition and stylish modern amenities. The private hot tub on the patio is a welcome amenity after a long day of sightseeing and port wine tasting. The view out the windows is pastoral and inviting. Its just a short distance from the town, but its not practical to walk anywhere from here so we recommend if you have a car or are happy to use rideshares. “We really enjoyed the serenity of this location right on the Douro River. Once we were shown an easier place to park, we found it more accessible. There is a good grocery store about 15 minutes away, and the freeways are easy to get to from there also. The suite was clean and modern and well appointed. There was good communication. ”

“The appartment is a whole first floor of a house (above the ground floor) with a private entrance. It is roomy and we could all have our own space. It was easy to park nearby. We found the neighbourhood to be charming and genuine. The weather in october was quite rainy so the host set up a heater and a dehumidifier for us which made things comfortable (the humidity is very high otherwise).
