Our new favorite place

Can't say enough good things about this property and it's location. House was perfect for the wife and I, pool area was outstanding. The closeness to restaurants and Lido beach meant we didn't have to drive everywhere and pay for parking. Property Management was easy to deal with and very responsive. Will be back to the house again. Perfect week.

Family Week

We've stayed at numerous vacation homes, so we have context for comparison. This single-family home exceeded our expectations with its spacious layout. Our daughter slept comfortably on the full-size fold-out bed in the master bedroom, which offered ample room. The property was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with amenities that worked great for our stay, including kayaks, beach chairs, towels, and even a shop vac that proved useful. The location is ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions. The backyard, featuring a well-designed pool, hot tub, and beautifully landscaped grounds, was a highlight. If you're seeking a relaxing week-long getaway, this home is a great choice.

Delightful February Getaway

My husband and I spent 2 weeks in February at this lovely home. Situated in what might be the perfect location on Lido Key...a few blocks to the beach and a few blocks from wonderful dining and shopping. We walked everywhere and hardly used our vehicle. The pool and hot tub are set in a very private backyard. The screened porch was the perfect morning coffee spot. We had a few issues with the tv set up, but management was very responsive and we eventually got it figured out. The house includes lots of family friendly beach bikes, a wagon, chairs, umbrella, etc. The kitchen was well equipped with some basic spices and a few necessities. We would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Fabulous place

Mermaids Oasis was a great place to stay. Close to St. Armands Circle and the beach. Great pool and hot tub! All amenities needed were included, and the communication with the hosts (especially Sierra) was outstanding. We especially loved the cupcake surprise that they left us (the chocolate was our favorite)! Can't wait to return!

Such a great stay!!

This was a wonderful vacation stay. Four of us adults stayed and it was the perfect vacation house. So close to the beach and a cute shopping circle. The owners were so easy to work with and were so friendly. We were even greeted with cupcakes in the fridge! There were plenty of beach necessities at the house, so we did not need to buy our own. This was an AMAZING vacation and we are so thankful to have been able to vacation here!! HIGHLY recommend!!!

Perfect Oasis

While staying at this property we enjoyed being close enough to walk to St Armand’s Circle nearly every night for dinner. It was also a short drive to LBK for dinners at DryDocks, Old Salty Dog and Shore - where we enjoyed seeing the peacocks that roam the streets. In the morning we used the bikes at the property and rode thru LBK - making sure to catch the manatees at the Key Club. Additionally we walked down to the Lido Beach - using the chairs and umbrella provided by the property. Every night we capped off the day with a late night swim in the beautiful pool and hot tub. The property is beautiful and very comfortable. We will definitely be returning and renting this property. It was perfect.

Great stay at Mermaids Oasis in Sarasota

We had a great stay at Mermaids Oasis. It has plenty of room and privacy, and the outdoor space is beautiful. The location was within walking or a bike ride distance from the beach, St. Armands Circle, and Long Boat Key. The villa was very well stocked, from the kitchen to beach towels, beach chairs, wagon, and bikes. It was a very easy check-in, and check-out process and everyone at Cottages On The Key were very attentive. I would highly recommend Mermaids Oasis for your stay in Sarasota.

Great Place to Stay on Lido

House and pool area were very clean and the host paid attention to little details that made the stay seamless. We were concerned initially about the construction next door but there was very little noise coming from there throughout our trip (occasional drilling or cutting but nothing very loud). Great pool and very walkable to restaurants and the beach. We did have an issue where the hot tub lost power but the property manager was extremely prompt getting someone out there to address and resolve the issue. We'd happily stay here again.

Beautiful home just 2 minute walk to St Armand’s Circle

This beautiful, very clean 2 bedroom home with an amazing pool/hot tub and outside area was the perfect retreat for my husband and me. The pictures were spot on and the home was extremely well equipped. We hope to return next year!!

Fantastic vacation

Will be great, just not at the moment.

The house is in a superb location, easy walk to beautiful Lido beach and all the entertainments of St Armands. The house is well maintained and well appointed for all you would need for a rental. The major issue is the significant construction noise from the house being built next door. which commences every day at 7am. One of the main features of Mermaids is the outside space, and for 2 of our 7 days it was unusable as a Telehandler was driven back and forth on the boundary of the houses.
