Playas del Coco is a small fishing village with one of the safest beaches in Costa Rica. There you will find an ample amount of restaurants and sodas on the beach or along the main avenue. A soda in Costa Rica is a small family run restaurant with fresh home cooked food at reasonable prices instead of "Coca Cola". In the village you will find many bars with evening activities, shops selling everything from souvenirs to clothing to electronics, a casino, a pharmacy and four grocery stores offering liquor, meats, fresh produce, breads and many other needed merchandise items.
