“I reserved a Double Queen Suite which sleeps 6. The photos showed 2 queens plus a pull out couch in an adjacent room. What I got was 2 queens and in the adjacent room a live seat which was not a pull out. I attempted to call the front desk from the room phone… which had no dial tone and turned out not to be connected to anything… apparently just decorative. I called the hotel on my cell.. I was told that the property has NO pull out beds, and that they have NO CONTROL over what Expedia...

“A good hotel, a bit off from 'downtown' St Joseph, but with a car everything is possible. Good wifi, decent breakfast. Loved the pancake machine! We also very much appreciated the washer&dryer onsite - very convenient. There is also a gym which my husband used, but I wanted to run outside (a bit hot). If only the city could fix a footpath/sidewalk from the hotel to the bridge (about 1/4 mile), access would have been perfect. The nice restaurant next door and the beautiful sunset over Lake...

“Front staff was great, kids pulling the fire alarm-not so great. But definitely not the staffs fault. Our room could have been cleaner. Corners in the bathroom haven’t been touched in awhile, used beer can left in cupboards (we had a suite), old piece of tomato left on carpet under the footstools. Location was good, easy to get to.”

“They told me my reservation didn’t exist, but actually cancelled my original reservation and charged my card again because they didn’t have the room I booked. I booked a suite, they tried to tell me I didn’t, even though my reservation said suite and that’s what I was charged for. The check in process wasn’t professional, staff didn’t know what they were doing, and then they tried to enter our room at 8:00am. “We had planned to stay here just one night while passing by, but when we arrived we felt so uncomfortable that we actually looked up another hotel to stay at. Our stay at this hotel was not refundable, but despite this we decided to stay at another hotel because we did not feel safe staying at the red roof inn”
