“First night they let us in the pool area but didn’t know how to turn on the lights so we were left in the dark. Had to ask to get in the pool area any time we wanted to swim. No towels were available at the pool. Blind in our room wouldn’t go up so we couldn’t see out the window. Called to let front desk know about the blind. Was told they would get it fixed right away. “I reserved a Double Queen Suite which sleeps 6. The photos showed 2 queens plus a pull out couch in an adjacent room. What I got was 2 queens and in the adjacent room a live seat which was not a pull out. I attempted to call the front desk from the room phone… which had no dial tone and turned out not to be connected to anything… apparently just decorative. I called the hotel on my cell.. I was told that the property has NO pull out beds, and that they have NO CONTROL over what Expedia...

“A good hotel, a bit off from 'downtown' St Joseph, but with a car everything is possible. Good wifi, decent breakfast. Loved the pancake machine! We also very much appreciated the washer&dryer onsite - very convenient. There is also a gym which my husband used, but I wanted to run outside (a bit hot). If only the city could fix a footpath/sidewalk from the hotel to the bridge (about 1/4 mile), access would have been perfect. The nice restaurant next door and the beautiful sunset over Lake...
