Modern stuga nära stranden på Nordre Karlsøy

This modern cabin on Nordre Karlsøy offers a secluded location with plenty of sunshine. The island's connected by bridge to the mainland and Søndre Karlsøy, and both islands have lovely trails for walking or running. Here you'll find the perfect base for a peaceful holiday by the sea.

A local architect designed the cabin with openness as the guiding principle. Everything's on one level, where the kitchen, living room and outdoor area flow naturally into one another. The modern layout makes it easy to cook while staying in touch with the rest of the family, whether they're inside or outside. The outdoor areas on all sides of the cabin offer plenty of opportunities to relax throughout the day. Follow the sun or find shade when you need it. It's just a short walk to the swimming beach and shared jetty area, perfect for swimming and time by the water. The cabin also has two kayaks with paddles and life jackets available for guests to use. The cabin sits in a stunning archipelago, and it's peaceful and pleasant to paddle between the islands.

The Old Town in Fredrikstad and the archipelago are nearby, and the Coastal Trail offers great walking opportunities. Visit Solli Brug Gallery, take a trip to Strömstad, or explore local gems like Havlystparken, Camo Fish, and Brevik’n. “Antikk og Brukt i Østfold” is worth a visit for those who enjoy hunting for treasures.
