“The room was very clean and spacious and included microwave and bar fridge.”

“A literal 2 minute walk from the St. Albans train station which is nice and convenient. Nice clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was your average run of the mill hotel breakfast, but better than nothing. Also they have complimentary coffee 24/7 which is fantastic. 10/10 would stay here again”

“Staff was helpful and nice, but I had to wait about 10mins to check-in as no one was at the desk at 10pm. Room was big but felt old and not well maintained. We had holes in our blanket, an awkwardly placed toilet with a weak flush, a shower with slides doors that almost came off, and noise from the plastic fitter of the air conditioning that kept smacking in the night from wind. Overall, we didn’t find any dirt or grime, but the property felt extremely dated and fragile in spots.”

“Fine hotel, although checkin staff were not very friendly or responsive. In the morning no hot water in the shower, which they just shrugged off when I told them. Breakfast is fine, rooms are clean and comfortable. With hot water it would have been nice!”

“We were welcomed by very warm and kind folks at the inn. We appreciated the cleanliness of the room and property as a whole. Breakfast was great! Fruits and danishes were left out for guests.”

“First of all, how do you like it if you have a dog barking at you all the time from the next room? Yup, that is exactly what happened to me. When asked the front desk they said they can check on the situation but can’t help with it. So everything I write after this sentence should be disregarded about this property as it is a very big nuesence. My room was clean but outside the hallways there were lot of gym equipment which are broken I think. The pool is for namesake. Apparently only 3 feet...

“The room was not spotless, but decent (no bugs or mold). The staff was not very helpful, but were not rude. They had well stocked vending machines on each floor. We kept hearing a loud sound between 10pm-12am like drilling, it might have been AC/pipes/machinery? It would be ridiculous for there to actually have been construction at that hour. The main reason for the poor review is the behavior of other guests. There were groups of drunk men hanging out right outside the main doors both nights...
