The pool was a very comfortable temperature and the patio on top was great on breezy cool evenings. “This was a great place. Very spacious and comfortable. A few kitchen necessities (salt, pepper, coffee, etc) would be nice to have available. We were unable to watch World Jrs in the condo, we weren’t able to stream it on the tv…. But found a couple places that were playing the games downtown! A golf cart was awesome to have. We could whip back and forth to the centre anytime no problem. Lots of stairs to climb, but it was a good workout! The pool area is awesome!! Cold pool, and a heated pool...

We loved listening to the music at night--and could simply close the sliders at night for a quiet sleep. What a great little spot to enjoy this extraordinary surf town!”

“We arrived at night so the alley was dark and we might not have found it if Halo (care taker of property) hadn’t magically appeared. Best to make sure she knows what time you’re coming or have her arrange the taxi so the driver knows where he’s going. In the light of day the condo location is a lot like the rest of Sayulita, houses creatively stashed. We enjoyed being off the beaten path since it was Christmas and basically a constant party. It was perfect to walk 7 minutes to join the party...

“We liked the Northside location with it being less noisy and more upscale.The downside, the condo ran out of water for half a day; a loss of electricity for approximately 10 hours one day; and there seemed to be issues with mosquitoes in the condo even though we kept all doors and windows closed. ”

"We wanted to mix luxury resorts in Puerta Vallarta with a bit more relaxed vibes in Sayulita. Not only through a day visit but for a few nights. Based on good reviews and a nice price offer from Hotels.com we opted for Ximena. It lived up to all expectations. Good location on walking distance from the beaches. Very nice staff and with good command of English. Clean and modern rooms with good AC and a little fridge. Roof top pool is not big but not the smallest we’ve seen either. We were almost the only guests using it and then the size was no issue at all. Towels provided for the pool. And a big plus, towels for the beach was also provided by the hotel!! No meal service at the hotel, but no problem to find breakfast close by. If looking for good morning cappuccino there is a nice place a few blocks down the road, same side as the hotel across from the big sports bar and next to the veterinary. We mixed very relaxed dinners on no name places with a more fancy option at Don Pedros, well worth a few extra pesos. Uber from the airport to Ximena cost us MXP 890. No problem to find uber for the return to PV."
