Description of the village
The Walser village of Schmitten (1300 metres above sea level) lies in the heart of Graubünden between Lenzerheide and Davos, above the world-famous Landwasser Viaduct. The Albula Valley, which lies in the "Parc Ela" nature park, is surrounded by a beautiful, striking mountain landscape.
