“Decent cheap hotel in a strange but interesting little town. Close to the main street, walking distance to everything. Small pool just outside the rooms. Breakfast was included in our price so for what we paid we are very happy.”

“This is far and away one of the best motels I have ever stayed at in regional Australia. Even a clean room is a big ask nowadays but the rooms here are spotless and absolutely safe.”

“Easy to get to, quiet and central to the region. Sliding entry gate a bit 'iffy' at times. Staff were great, excellent! Pool was good. WiFi not great...a bit slow so TV pixellated a lot and slow internet access for personal equipment. Restaurant not open every night, but the food was really good and delivered to your room. Would stay again if opportunity arose.”

Great pressure hot water in shower. Tea and coffee provided. Beds were clean and comfortable. TV didn’t seem to work but I have found that to be the case with every TV at every hotel / place of accommodation that I have stayed at between Mt Isa and Darwin. So this is not a dealbreaker for me. “The booking went through on Expedia for a same day, last minute booking. No information was available on the initial Expedia listing to illustrate what time reception closed. The booking was made after reception had closed. I called a number and told a man that I would be arriving late. He was reasonably helpful. He provided a pin code for the room. Upon arrival in the dark, it was hard to ascertain how to get into the compound so I had to send another text to the Man. He then disclosed that I...

“They are using cheap internal doors as external doors which have been punched and kicked in making unsafe rooms. We told them it was unacceptable and were given the room next door. The rooms are dirty and need to be upgraded. We woke up covered in bug bites. would not recommend this property.”
