“Omgoodness, just what the doctor ordered! Peaceful, Beautiful, Quiet, sitting by the fire, floating in the lake on a raft, fishing from the boat that was on property. Catching fish! Listening to owls at night and watching the darkness filled with lightning bugs. I highly highly and even more highly recommend this place! And no, I’m not related, lol I was truly in my Second Heaven❤️”

“My girlfriend and I stayed at the property for a whole week. It was very quiet and peaceful. Out in the middle of nowhere with nature, it truly was the perfect place.”

“We stayed for one night while exploring the Salt Fork area for the first time. The weather was not great but Brittany allowed us to check in early, so we ended up spending most of our time at the cabin. We enjoyed the fire pit and cooking on the grill. The inside of the cabin is beautiful and clean. The outside was nice as well but a bit unkempt - mostly minor things that could be resolved easily (grass needed cut, found some garbage lying around, grill was very old and rusty with food residue)....

“The cabin was adorable but I didn’t realize the two person cabin had no bathroom. We were at the top of the hill and had to drive downhill to the bath house. Would have been nice to have a bathroom at least near our cabin to use at night. Also it was a surprise for the $200 deposit to come out the day before our arrival in addition to what we paid. Everything was clean and nice other than that.”

“Orginally from the area but living out of state, we booked this place to be able to get our friends and family together for my husband's birthday. The long driveway gave us privacy and plenty of parking. The open layout also gave us ALOT of space to mingle. Would book again.”

“Everything perfect. Clean, Tasteful, plates glasses all high quality. Everything thought. Propane torch to light fires very cool and effective. Only room for improvement is wi-fi. Seldom works, but everything else perfect.”

“Long weekend getaway with friends staying at the RV campground. Short drive to the park, close to lakefront restaurant and boat rentals, nice property with plenty of amenities. Overall relaxing stay and an enjoyable day on the water.”

The whole stay was beautiful, from the lake to the inside of The Olive. The correspondence was impressive, answering any questions I had within hours! We will definitely be coming back!”
