“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our first trip to Antigua and stay at Royalton CHIC Antigua exceeded every expectation! Ignore the negative reviews and go with an open mind. The resort is smaller, peaceful, relaxing, and far more personal than the huge crowded all inclusives we usually visit.
Our clean third-floor room overlooked the quiet pool, and the sunsets were absolutely unreal. Photos truly do not capture Antigua’s beauty.

“I don’t usually leave reviews. Came in for 5 days we are in are later 30s looking to relax and reset which was nice but there’s literally nothing to do here. Pool is small and everytime we went to the bar no one was there had to wait. “We were a little sceptical about Galleon Beach Resort due to limited reviews but we did not regret booking.
Upon arrival Talia showed us down to Sea Breeze - cottage number 10. She left a welcome sheet providing her mobile number incase we needed it, numbers of taxis etc.
The cottage was beautiful with a living area with two small couches, a kitchenette with microwave, toaster, coffee maker, fridge water cooler and 2 plate hob.

“We went for 9 nights “fly and flop”.
Be prepared for mosquitoes in the evening. We used repellent every night and mossie net over bed.
Well-made cocktails - maybe a bit sweet? Huge variety, they’ll make what you want. Not top brands of spirits - but you don’t really notice in a cocktail.
Wine is acceptable chardonnay (oaked) or sauvignon blanc -S7 from Chile. Also a prosecco and two reds. You can upgrade to wine from a reasonable wine list at standard restaurant prices.
