“The layout is nice, the view is wonderful. The noise level from highway is loud at times. The windows do not all have screens and some of them have openings that let in bugs. The kitchen is not well equipped with items, such as sharp knives, coffee, baking pans, or serving dishes. The pillows are terrible and the blankets are cheap.”

“Beautiful home, very quiet neighborhood. Loved the wrap around porch and layout of home. Wish there had been a lake view but understand the rules. Would definitely go back some time.”

“My boys and I were looking for a nice place to go and get away from memorial weekend. The house is located close to the lake. We were able to rent a boat and have a nice day on the lake Saturday and then come back to a relaxing house for the rest of the weekend. We dealt with several severe storms. The owner was kind enough to reach out to us while we were on the lake to let us know that we were out of power, and that it should be back on soon.”

“The cabin is amazing and worked great for our weekend trip!! Plenty of space, very clean, stocked with indoor and outdoor games. The screened in porch is fantastic for hanging out in the evenings. Melissa the host was great and communication was excellent. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to the area as a place to stay.”

“The She Shed was great. Cozy little spot. Stayed for three nights and slept great. The hosts we're awesome: helpful and hospitable. The cabin was stocked well enough that we could cook a little breakfast in the morning and head off to Mammoth Cave for some hiking during the day. Really happy I found this spot. Glamping is where it's at.”

“This was an incredible place to stay. Loved the old woods (incl the drive in), the house, the hot tub, the deck, fire pit. So comfortable. So many thoughtful touches. Decor was so well done but also so inviting. Our only disappointment was the weather. Our usual m.o. in nature is to be outside for everything possible. Unfortunately, most of our visit was rainy. We had so much fun as a family playing games in the basement with the garage open, tho, enjoying the sounds of rain. Enough reprieves in...

“Couldn't have asked for better hosts and accomodations! Communication was excellent. Everything you could need was provided and then some. Decor and queen bed were unexpectedly upscale. Fresh pastries to greet us when we arrived. On site fishing for hubby. Will definitely return!”

“The owner is very nice, friendly, & accommodating. The rental is located in a beautiful area! If you want quiet & to kind of get away from “people” , it’s the perfect place. So much better than staying in a hotel! 10/10 recommend! We plan on staying again when we come back to town!”
