Hotell nära Sea Point Pavillion

"Vi är mycket nöjda med vår vistelse på hotellet. Servicen var mycket bra, rent och fräscht rum och hotellet låg bra placerat. Vi skulle gärna återvända hit nästa gång."

"The hotel itself is acceptable. You can hear noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms however. The staff at the reception were a big disappointment as they were not helpful at all. Some other big negatives were the use of facial recognition cameras to get access to the elevators and get into the hotel from the garage. The hotel refused to give any keycards for me who did not want to register my face in their system. My partner agreed to register her face so we could get to the room. The system did not work very well however and we got stuck in the garage at two occasions. Another thing was the breakfast. We paid extra to have breakfast included and the breakfast was served in the restaurant/coffee shop on the ground floor, which was open to outside guests. We ordered our breakfast and afterwards received a phone call from the reception telling us we had ordered too much for breakfast and they wanted us to pay extra. Apparently they had a limit of 600 Rand for breakfast but had not told us about it. The bill however stated that 10 % of that was service charge so you had even less to order for without paying extra. And the restaurant itself was not a cheap restaurant so do not expect to be able to get completely full if you do not want to pay extra. The stay was acceptable but we will choose another hotel next time we go to Cape town."
