âFantastic place totally out of the ordinary. Five-star attention by the staff made us feel welcome from the start. Great romantic room and Full English breakfast served at the table. We had dinner in the cosy restaurant with a menu leaning heavily on seafood, for obvious reasons. After a walk along the seafront we came back for a coffee in the nice pub-part of the restaurant. Our room (404) had total sea view and we could see Portsmouth across the sound. We'll come back next time we're in the...
âThe whole building was unique. unusual but very comfortable. We could have done with another chair in the Room.....but other than that fine.

âIf you use a wheelchair make sure you state this when booking. Accessible suites are only available on the 2nd floor and the lift does not go to the third floor. We were on the third so we had some steps to use and drag the chair up. An access ramp is at the side of the building but, if you cannot do stairs, you have to wheel through the outside bar patio in the front, into the back of the bar, through the restaurant and out into the lobby.
