Underbar mysig fiskarstuga i Seahouses, Northumberland

Traditionell fiskarstuga ligger i ett vackert, lugnt kullerstensbelagt torg nära hamnen och stranden. Nyligen renoverat till en mycket hög standard. Stugan har ursprungliga stenväggar i köket och vardagsrummet. Härligt stort kök för hela familjen. Den har 3 sovrum (1 dubbel, 1 våningssäng med enkelsängar i full storlek och 1 tvåbäddsrum med 2 enkelsängar). Det drar nytta av wifi och netflix. Parkeringsplats för 1 bil direkt utanför stugan. Hundar tillåtna.
Under säsong / icke-större semesterperioder accepterar vi bokning för följande datum: fredag till måndag (3 nätter) eller måndag till fredagar (4 nätter). De dagliga priserna har beräknats på denna basis. Men om du behöver större flexibilitet kan vi förhoppningsvis rymma dig och räkna ut ett pris baserat på en blandning av priser på helger och veckodag. Om du vill stanna en vecka eller längre utanför säsongen / högst helger, vänligen fråga om priset eftersom vi kommer att tillämpa en generös rabatt - vi lägger inte bara till priset i mitten av veckan och helgen tillsammans. Under semesterperioder är priset baserat på att stanna en hel vecka (lördag till lördag) och är därför redan rabatterad från de dagliga priserna. Tack.

Over all we enjoyed our stay, everything was very good. The one small thing we didn’t really like was the quality of the shower. Although it was adequate, it lacked power.

Stayed with family and a dog. Lovely cottage. Very clean & tidy with everything we needed. Excellent location, right in the centre of town with easy walks to really great pubs / restaurants and beautiful sandy beaches. Yes, the turn into the square is a little bit tight but we were in a large 4x4 and managed it easily. Great communication with a very helpful host with quick replies. Highly recommended.

ideally located cottage, a real home from home

First impressions on entering the property were how clean everything looked and smelled. It is in an ideal location, right next to Seahouses harbour, and a short walk to the beach and also to local shops, pubs and restaurants. We did have to contact the owner, Dawn, on one occasion in relation to the heating but Dawn answered immediately and the issue was quickly resolved. The weather was not great unfortunately but we still managed some nice walks and a boat trip to the Farne Islands, which I would heartily recommend.

Beautiful, well equipped home from home

We have just returned from a week-long stay in this lovely location. It is situated just around the corner from the harbour and had everything we needed for a relaxing and peaceful getaway. My only criticism would be that it advertised a DVD player (and I had brought along several DVDs which we were looking forward to watching) and, although there was indeed a player, it had the wrong connection for the TV and we were therefore unable to use it. Otherwise a wonderful stay. Thank You.

Great Location and facilities?

No towels except 1 hand towel. No Netflix, no BBC 1 except through iPlayer. Very noisy as a family with 3 children and a dog in accommodation above.

Pleasant stay

Overall a pleasant stay. Great location for easy walk into Seahouses which has some lovely bars and restaurants and nice little shops. Close to the coastal path walk and harbour. Property overall including linen and bedding were all very clean and comfortable. No issues with wifi and owner was very responsive to messages. My only wee negative was that crockery and cutlery wasn’t very clean so had to wash it all when we arrived. With such a large kitchen shame there isn’t a dishwasher.

Pleasant stay

Pleasant stay. Clean house and a good location. Puffin and seal cruise is a must. Beach is walkable. Recommend the Black Swan nearby for food and also the potted lobster in Bamburgh. Need to book well in advance for the Potted Lobster! The seafood van between Seahouses and Bamburgh is great too.

Seahouses at its best

Location is brilliant. Cottage was lovely and clean. We did have an issue with WiFi for a very short time but this was quickly rectified by host which was great as we had no phone signal. The cottage was very spacious, the photos don't do it justice.

Great location

We’ve had a lovely week, great location, everything you could possibly need in the house. It was clean and spacious. Parking was a bit of a problem, our space was also someone else’s space and it was very congested in there, but for us it was ok as my parents were staying in the opposite courtyard so we parked there instead. We chatted with our neighbour and came to that agreement so all good. A lovely property and would highly recommend.

A lovely comfortable cottage

The cottage is situated perfectly and very comfortable. Easy walks to beach, harbour, all amenities in Seahouses and great coastal walks. Dawn was super helpful throughout the process. Would love to visit again. Can highly recommend.

Fantastic cottage!

A lovely little cottage a stones throw from the harbour and all the shops, pubs etc that Seahouses has to offer. It provided everything we needed and more for a fab family holiday. Highly recommend!

So impressed

The cottage was so clean and so very well equipped. Very pretty and comfortable. It was so close to the harbour and the people around so very friendly. Two very small gripes the internet was so bad and a small garden area would have been helpful. Ihave a year old puppy and she had to be permanently on a lead. Thank you so such a wonderful few days

Well equipped cottage in a lovely area

Cosy courtyard property

Perfect location for easy access to the harbour, seaside and shops/bars. Quietly situated within a cosy courtyard with no town noises, despite being very close to all the amenities. Hosts were very easy to speak with and quick to be in touch if any issues arose.
