Seaside House, idealiskt beläget i utkanten av Seahouses, nyligen inredda och renoverade, har denna smakfullt inredda egendom ett fredligt läge, men ändå inom gångavstånd från hamnen, stränderna, golfklubben och byn med många pubar, restauranger och butiker . På Seahouses är du bokstavligen omgiven av fantastisk natur och bortskämd för valet för saker att göra och platser att besöka. Farneöarna kan nås med regelbundna båtturer från hamnen. Det fantastiska Bamburgh-slottet och den vackra stranden ligger bara 3 mil bort, och den historiska marknadsstaden Alnwick, med dess majestätiska trädgårdar och slott (används i många filmer inklusive Harry Potter), är bara en kort bilresa. Arvskustlinjen är prickad med fler slott, vackra stränder och fiskebyar samt Holy Island.
Cheviot Hills och Northumberland National Park ligger också i närheten, liksom gränsstäderna Berwick och Coldstream. Newcastle och Edinburgh är också lättillgängliga. Seaside House är en idealisk egenskap att bo med, med sin sovande flexibilitet, 2 badrum på övervåningen och garderoben nedervåningen. Bytesdag är lördag. Ankomsttid efter 15:00. Avgångstid kl.

This house was ideally located in a quiet area with a short walk to all the local shops, restaurants and pubs. There were also local tracks to the coast and along to the village. Seahouses is also a great location for exploring the Northumbrian coast. Accommodation was comfortable and well eqipped and the owner communicated promptly and was very helpful.

This was a family holiday to explore some of the history of the area, and we were not disappointed.Seaside house is ideally located for exploring many places, like Bamburgh Castle, Lindisfarne and many more.Also only a short walk into Seahouses. Loved Trotters Bakery, lots of nice things to eat.

Very enjoyable stay

We enjoy walking and bird watching - this was a brilliant base, comfortable and well equipped property, with helpful neighbours and quick responses from Russell with any queries. An easy walk to shops, boats to Farne Islands as well as the beach.

Excellent base for exploring the area

The house was lovely- very clean and well-equipped. Can’t think of anything else we would need! It was an easy stroll to the harbour and the amenities of Seahouses along the coastal path - the sea is literally at the end of the road! A great location for exploring the area - so much to do that we didn’t fit it all in and we were there a week! Good excuse to go back. Communication with Russell was excellent right from the time of booking. He even took the trouble to send some information about birdwatching sites when I mentioned that was an interest of my husband! Thank you so much Russell! We will definitely return!

Lovely cottage in a quiet location just a few minutes walk from the sea and the amenities of Seahouses. Everything you needed to self cater was there. Great base to explore the area from, and only a short distance from the fabulous Bamburgh beach and castle.

Ideal location

Stayed here over the Christmas week, the property is in an ideal location close to Seahouses centre and easy access at end of the road to the waterfront.There is reserved parking for two cars.The property is well equipped and comfortable and warm.

Lovely Seaside House

Had a great stay at Seaside House in Seahouses. House was lovely and absolutely spotless. Great location, few minutes walk from coast and town. Great places to eat. Brilliant to use for a base to visit all of the beautiful Northumberland coast. Would definitely recommend.

Great house and location

The house contained everything we needed including parking x2 spaces. Exactly as expected from the info on the website. Would have liked an initial acknowledgement from the owner. The design of the dining table legs made it difficult for 3 adults to sit at without moving the sofa. Cleaning could be better - dust on doors, pictures and under the coffee table. The neighbours budgies chirped from 5am.

Ein wunderbarer Urlaub in Northumberland

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen und erholsamen Urlaub in Northumberland. Das Ferienhaus war sehr gut ausgestattet, wir haben nichts vermisst. Es befindet sich in einem ruhigen Wohnviertel unweit der Nordsee und hat sehr freundliche Nachbarn. Der Kontakt mit dem Eigentümer war unkompliziert, zu Beginn unseres Aufenthaltes bekamen wir sogar ein paar sehr nahrhafte Willkommensgeschenke. Seahouses ist ein Ferienort in dem hauptsächlich Briten Urlaub machen. Es liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig an der Nordseeküste von Northumberland. Von hier aus ist es nicht weit nach Edinburgh (rd. zweieinhalb Stunden Fahrt) oder nach Newcastle upon Tyne (rd. eineinhalb Stunden Fahrt). Aber auch in der näheren Umgebung befinden sich mit Alnwick oder Berwick-upon-Tweed interessante Orte, die man gut besuchen kann. Da wir Mitglied im National Trust sind, konnten wir diverse Orte wie Lindisfarne-Castle auf Holy Island (bei Flut eine Insel, bei Ebbe mit dem Auto erreichbar), Dunstanburgh-Castle bei Alnwick, Cragside oder Wallington, beide bei Morpeth kostenfrei besichtigen. Ein unbedingtes Muss ist ein Besuch des Bamburgh-Castle, welches allerdings nicht vom National Trust betrieben wird. Von Seahouses aus kann man auch diverse Bootstouren u.a. zu den Farne-Islands (ein Vogelparadis) oder zu Holy Islands machen.

The house was very well equipped and the bed was comfortable. Nice lounge with plenty of books, CD's and DVD's. Great location a short distance from the sea, shops and pubs. We would stay there again.

Pleasent stay.

The property is in a great location, the facilities are great, it's short of nothing. Russel (owner) was easy to contact and Ray (maintenance) was pleasant and efficient. The only negative I found was the TV was rather dated with poor sound quality. My mother is hard of hearing and there was no option to add subtitles. I know that may sound picky but if there a bad weather day you need some entertainment in the property. I'd just ask Russel to update that and it's 100%.

Beautiful house by the sea

The photos don't do it justice, this is a lovely spacious spotless cottage with everything you need to have a relaxing holiday. Quiet location within a few minutes walk to the beach and into Seahouses. Russell was so helpful and answered any questions we had promptly. We were welcomed with some very generous welcome gifts! Lovely neighbours too who helped us locate the keybox on arrival. We really fell in love with the place can highly recommend. We certainly hope to be back in the future.

Adequately furnished, one double bed, and 2 singles Good location on small estate, easy access to towns along the coast and inland. Short walk to rocky beach, but sandy beaches still within reach. Also a short walk into seahouses for shops and restaurants. Owner kept in contact before and during our stay
