Secluded Cabin in the Woods, near Carolina Horse Park and Valkyrie Sporthorses

This small cozy cabin is secluded and very much in the woods, approximately 0.6 of a mile off NC Hwy 211, between Raeford NC and Aberdeen NC, down an unpaved road. Enjoy peace and quiet and communing with nature. Not far from Carolina Horse Park, (3.3 miles). Dreamville MX (11 miles ),Pinehurst NC, (16.miles), Aberdeen NC (9 miles), Southern Pines NC, (11miles), Raeford NC, (9 miles). Fayetteville NC, (29 miles). The cabin is small, but but will sleep three people comfortably. It has a queen size bed, a full length sofa (not a sofa bed), and a twin size electric blow up mattress.

The perfect getaway

We stayed here while attending Carolina Horse Park. Don’t let the drive to the house make you second guess anything, because it’s a well worth it. This was the cleanest home we have booked and the owner made sure if we needed anything that he was available. You can’t hear any cars. You’re literally in the woods and it’s so peaceful after being surrounded by the business and chaos of the day. We will definitely be returning for future stays.

If you are looking for a secluded, quite cabin then this is the spot to go. It was just what my husband and I were looking for! Host is very friendly. The cabin was clean and well maintained. Definitely will be back for another weekend alone!

We had an amazing stay at Henry's cabin. We were in town to visit our daughter, son in law, and granddaughter for the weekend. Henry's cabin was exactly what we were looking for- a peacuful, quiet, comfortable getaway. Henry was great to work with, and always quick tonrespond to any messages.

We stayed here for Christmas 2023. We loved it so much that we stayed again while visiting my son and his family. The minute we walked in it felt like home. Any time we have large get togethers at my sons house we prefer to stay at the cabin for peace and quite.

My son and I loved this little cabin. The owners were great and everything we needed was provided. The screened in porch was a perfect quiet spot to just relax. My grandson enjoyed playing in the huge yard. We will definitely be back.

Perfect place to relax

This cabin was absolutely wonderful. It's quiet and secluded but still feels safe. It's convenient to the Carolina Horse Park and not too far from Southern Pines for dinner. Would love to come stay here again!

Fantastic cabin getaway!

The cabin is a relaxing, comfortable and quiet place in a wonderful location close to Carolina Horse Park (about 10 minutes), and a variety of grocery and other stores (about 15 minutes in either direction). The setting is peaceful and enchanting with a couple of ponds, lots of birds and wildlife. I saw a "herd" of wild turkeys, lots of deer, and some of the largest squirrels I've ever seen! The cabin is very well constructed and well appointed. Host Henry and Sylvia thought of everything you could possibly need, and they thrive on making sure their guests have the best experience. Truly, the magnificent Hosts were also a perk of this trip! The bed was super comfortable and I had some of the best night's sleep I've had in a long time. It's a wonderful place to make your "home" base for horse shows, or even a relaxing "recharging" getaway in the woods. Highly recommend! I can't wait to return!

The owners are very kind and helpful. The cabin was very clean, well stocked, cozy and comfortable. The trails were wonderful for walking. We have stayed in many cabins over the years and this was by far our favorite. Looking forward to returning.

Thanksgiving Getaway

Cabin just as described. Clean and well stocked. Kitchen had everything I needed to prepare some Thanksgiving sides. Great communication with Henry, the owner. Perfect place for my husband and I to unwind while spending the holiday with family. We brought our side by side and were able to use it for all travel between the cabin and our daughter’s farm. Perfect!

A Little Bit of Heaven

Henry was a fabulous host. He greeted us at the end of the road to ensure that we found the cabin. He also showed us around the inside and outside of the cabin and made sure any questions were answered. I came to spend some time my son but never expected to find this piece of heaven as a bonus. The cabin was fantastically stocked with anything you could imagine needing for a home away from home. The back porch was beyond great. It had rocking chairs and a porch swing. It was also enclosed so you could sit out any time of day without mosquitos. I was able to enjoy it multiple times a day. I think my favorite times were dawn and dusk. Just so peaceful. There are so many trails to walk and explore. I just can't say enough about this cabin. I will definitely come back to this cabin on my next visit. Thanks Henry!
