“Stayed 4 nights in August and had a great stay. Home was very clean, well-stocked with everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. The best part was the crabbing off the dock! Many thanks for use of the crab pots - we had at least a dozen keepers each day from the pots, plus another half dozen caught with handlines. If there was one slight issue, it was that the only bathroom is on the first floor while all bedrooms were on the second. But this is a design of the house, so nothing that...

“We had a fantastic stay at this beach house! The view was absolutely stunning — waking up to the sound of waves every morning was magical. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed, from a well-stocked kitchen to comfy beds. Just a short walk to the beach, and the sunsets were incredible. The host was responsive and friendly. Can’t wait to come back!”

“As a family with multiple people in a wedding at Vanderwende Acres, this house was in the prime spot. The house offered quick access for traveling to and from the wedding venue for multiple events in a weekend. The house had great amenities such as a separate pool table room which could not be heard in the bedrooms when trying to put our kids down. The bedrooms had ample space for family members to choose from and lawn offered space for the kids to run.”

“My family and I stayed here for 5 nights and we couldn’t say enough great things about the property! It was peaceful, clean, and had beautiful views of the lake. My kids enjoyed fishing off the dock. The host was amazing as well. Another plus were the super comfortable beds. Would highly recommend this property if staying in this area!”

“The Woodwind house is our absolute favorite home to stay in on the entire Eastern Shore area. We stayed in late August 2025, with family that included two elderly seniors and adults and teens, and two dogs. The check in process was smooth and exactly as described. “Wonderful stay at the house. The house was as advertised and had all necessary amenities. We had a blast together and didn’t have to worry about a thing with the house. I will note that the back steps that lead from the porch are very steep and elderly adult took a fall. A note on this or new steps would be great. The place was very clean. The house was clean, furnishings inside and out were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. The rental agency was helpful and responsive. I would recommend the house to anyone and would rent it again. ”
