âOverall everything was good, our only issue was after being there for a few days we noticed the toaster was full of crumbs, obviously not been emptied for quite some time, and the oven tray had not been cleaned after it had been used. We hadnât met the owner, so decided it was easier just to clean them both before using them.
On the hole, everything else was excellent.
There was no recycling facilities, which was quite a surprise, and also a slight disappointment. Everything else was above...

Only a 5-10 minute walk to get to the main attractions and lots of food options. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone staying in Durham. â

âThere were no cocktails to be had At All ! The pillows need changing as they are like bricks and the Showers need a shower mat as it becomes very, very slippery.
This is a shame, because everything else was Great.â

âI stayed here for the Great North Run in September. The staff are dedicated, to the point of opening breakfast from 5am on the day of the Run for runners! Exemplary and very easy to walk to the centre of Durham.â

"Toppenhotell, centralt belÀget. NÀra till allt, inklusive Stadium of Light som var mÄlet med vÄr resa. Mycket trevlig och serviceinriktad personal. Bra frukost som ingick.
QueensÀngen var en aning liten i vÄrt tycke, men vi hade ju bokat ett sÄdant rum sÄ det var vÄrt eget fel. DÀremot sÄ stod det att vi bokade ett rum med "stadsutsikt", men det var utsikt mot innergÄrden. Vi hade sÀkert fÄtt byta om vi frÄgat, men lÀt det vara."
