“I book online and when I reach the girl didn't know what to do. because I was tired I promised to pay cash. After paying she lost the money somewhere and she start accusing me that I have taken the money. I ask her to give the number of the manager she refused. After I got the number myself from internet and I called. to request to be refunded my money. the boss apologies and she went and she got the money and pays me. It took us 1 hour at the reception ”

“This hotel was a residence at one time so the layout is a little strange. On the second floor, there is a large living room area connected to two tandem bedrooms, the master reached via a small bedroom; this would be ideal for a family. Other guests on this floor have access to the living room. There is also a large balcony. I had a small room with a bath; no shower per se, just a tub with a hand shower attachment, a little awkward to use. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I...

“I booked this property 8 months ago. I chose it because it was one of the only ones that had a swimming pool in the area that I was going to look at. First thing about getting to this hotel is that you have to go down a very long bumpy dirty unsafe road. Everything is covered in this brown dust which is a combination of feces and soil. It's extremely uncomfortable to drive on. Once I arrived at the hotel I really wanted to like the place. One of the owners seemed friendly, and the staff also...

“Very bad acces road especially after rain. Away from main road and any big shop. Breakfast was always late and room next to kitchen is a nightmare. No night time so no good sleep for you (noises). Owners are friendly but they need to be more serious about guests. No hot water in shower. Heater broken? No bin bags. Doors and windows are not soundproof like stated on www. Good view on the city may compensate above issues. I would come back but this time only on top floor.”

“I’ve stayed there for 6 nights and it was so peaceful. The area is very quiet and secure. The room was cleaned daily and fresh linens and towels daily. Esther was lovely, always there looking after us and making sure that we were ok. Her breakfast every morning was delicious with fresh fruits and juice I would go back in a heartbeat ”

“I am still awaiting my refund after booking, being sent a “we can’t wait to host you” email, and arriving after a long journey and being told there were no rooms available - and was suggested another hotel 3 hours away. Terrible communication from hotel and zero viable resolution offered from staff. Very frustrating ”

"It was a pleasant stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kampala. Me and my girlfriend stayed there for 3 nights in our large King's size bedroom that was as big as a whole apartment, with two seperate bathrooms so that me and my girls could take care of our businneses privately. The bed was soft and comfy, the AC worked well, and it's good noice isolation in the room. The breakfast buffet and the dinner menu at the hotel was tasty, good quality and affordable. We haven't had the time to check out the pool during the stay. We also got breakfast for our check -out that we ate in the car for the trip to our safari journey. The personnel was kind and very helpful. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay for us both."
