“We stayed in Megs Boarding House for my birthday weekend. Didnt help that it rained and a cold front came thru. But didnt stop us from utilizing the pool. I dont think id stay in megs boarding house again though and would definitely upgrade to a newer cabin. But glad i got to experience staying in there. “My friend and I rented the house for a long weekend away and it was perfect. The views were great and it was a great place to reset and recharge. It was only a 15 minute drive to Wimberley where we spent most of our time.”

“Stayed the weekend here with my boyfriend who loves to fish. Chose this site because it was one of the only ones I could find with private dock access. The cabin itself is on the smaller side, but it is set up very well and had everything we need. The outdoor section covers two lots and felt so spacious. We spent a lot of time outside by the fire pit. We could tell the owners put a lot of thought and detail into making it a great experience. It was hard to leave, and we will definitely return to...

We were welcomed with a Dog Welcome package, including dog treats, towels, and a listing of all dog friendly eateries and activities to do around town which we greatly appreciated (and so did our pup).”

“We were in the area for a wedding, just my girlfriend and myself. The cabin was very well decorated and spacious feeling despite smaller square footage. The outside is lovely and well put together. You are still close to the road and can hear traffic, but you can not see the road or be seen from the road. It still felt very secluded. You are also less than 2 miles from Wimberley square. We will definitely stay again.”

“It was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. It’s very close to Canyon Lake and the Guadalupe River. Also easy drive to nearby towns such as Blanco, Johnson City, Dripping Springs, Wimberley and Gruene.”

“We stayed at the cabin in April. The cactus and wildflowers were blooming. There were plenty of deer, turkeys, armadillos, amd other wildlife to enjoy. It is a peaceful place out in the country on the river which I completely enjoyed.”

“What a beautiful, serene property right on Cypress Creek. The location is perfect. Walking distance to many shops, restaurants and the trail to Blue Hole. Our room was clean and the beds were so comfortable. We will definitely be back!”

“Super cute place! Perfect for a couple getaway. The house had everything we could possibly need. We were provided with some fire wood and sat out by the fire underneath the stars every night. Great place to just disconnect. Definitely recommend this spot during bluebonnet season. The bluebonnets on this property were thick and beautiful. Perfect spot for photos. We loved The Pineapple Ranchette!”

“Clean and as advertised. Easy to find and access. Super clean and perfect for a quiet stay. Everything worked except there was no cold water in the master bath sink. Hot water and A/C worked great. I saw where some reviews said no cell coverage, but we had no problem at all.”

“This was possibly the worst vacation rental I’ve ever used. The river view, as pictured, is a lie. The oven was broken. The internet was intermittent causing the tv and cell service to constantly stop. I was charged for leaving some clothes there that they said would mail to me but never did. The Roku tv had no instructions and would not turn on. Their is a mandatory hot tub fee but their are no instructions on how to make it work. There is an additional cleaning fee for no reason....

“This was our second trip out to this property because it was a perfect fit and great accommodations the first time and this year was no different. Also passing along a thanks for the larger sectional couch for the living room to allow more people to gather”

“We stayed for four nights and found this to be a great property for our family. There were plenty of bedrooms spread out over three floors, which was a big plus given our mix of four family units with small children and pets. There were three large tables that allowed our group of 12 to enjoy meals together.
