“This was an amazing motel. The kitchen had every utensils that we needed during our stay. Even though it was basically in the middle of nowhere, the car ride into Selfoss didn’t feel that long (the view is making it feel closer). The only negative I have to say is that the beds were rock hard, but we solved it by sleeping on the extra comforters from the bunk beds. I would highly recommend this motel, and I’ll consider another stay if I come back to the same area. ”

“Stayed at the two bedroom apartment which was great, loved that they had coffee and a washing machine. The surrounding area is beautiful, their neighbors have precious horses. ”

“We were very happy with this room which is more of a small apartment. Modern, very clean and quiet. Also had stovetop, fridge, freezer but no microwave. The bed was comfortable and the best we slept in during our road trip in Iceland.
But think about this! The GPS address provided by Hotels.com is incorrect and only leads to an empty road intersection. Hotels.com also gives the address of the town of Selfoss, which is not entirely correct. In reality, the hotel is in the middle of nowhere,...

“Very nice place, very clean and convenient to grocery and bakery. The kitchen was a definite plus for a family as it gets pricey eating out every day! Beautiful scenery of the river was absolutely serene! Host was amazingly gracious and accommodating!”
