“Great stay- best in Kuta for the money. A little rare gem tucked away in the back of an alleyway. Close to bars and restaurants but quiet and SPACIOUS! I was so surprised by the Japanese style construction of the room, its big and has unique accents that made it stylish. The bed is nice and the bathroom is big too. I've traveled all over SE Asia, and the air conditioning here is the best I've ever had. Maybe a funny comment but it REALLY matters when the humidity is above 80% and you feel cooked...

“Otroligt prisvärt! Ligger centralt och nära till allt. Absolut, vissa saker hade behövt uppdateras (trädgården är lite tråkig t ex) men jag kan också förstå att man kanske inte kunnat göra detta på grund av inkomstbortfallet covid orsakade. Rummet är rymligt, du får städning varje dag och nytt vatten. Bekväm säng och bra luftkonditionering. Stabilt Wi-Fi trots att det var en del regn när vi var där. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. “I don’t often leave reviews, but I really thought it would be helpful if I mentioned that this place is clean and totally fine. But I did have to sleep with earplugs. It was pretty loud lots of mufflers of mopeds accelerating all night and honking. Bring earplugs!”

“The pictures are from a different hotel. I was scammed. As soon as I booked, I got a message from the renter and he said he will pick me up or to call him when I am in the way. He gave my taxi directions to some hotel. I was already sketchy because the location on the map on thai website is not where the hotel is. Actually, the map on this location has no hotels in it which is why I was surprised. ”

“Villa Kayu Raja is in a good location, but not really walkable to restaurants or the beach, especially at night. The sidewalk ends a bit before the villa, so you’re left walking in the busy street. The villa itself is nice, but I was unimpressed with the private pool. It is very small and the yard itself is deceiving in size from the pictures. Virtually no sunlight comes into the pool area as well, so the pool is a bit chilly and you aren’t able to do any sun tanning. The price is a bit steep...
