The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane...

“We really enjoyed the quiet village and the house's amazing views of the volcano and lake! We saw beautiful birds everywhere. Loved the swings and the 3rd floor lookout! So peaceful. The only drawbacks were, one night the neighborhood dogs barked for an hour and we had a little trouble finding the house but Erika went out of her way to talk us through it and had her daughter meet us!
