“This home was exactly what we needed, close to downtown La Fortuna yet away from the noise. The house has 2 bedrooms with doble beds and TV’s and one loft with 2 twin beds. The bathroom has hot/cold water and the host provides shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. “This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane...

“This beautiful unique house is in a wonderful country setting. I had my morning coffee on the gazebo while a horse watched me. The area restaurants were very good and either walkable or a short drive. We also enjoyed water activities on the nearby lake.”

The property was only minutes away from center of La fortuna where shops and restaurants were located. We had minor inconvenience with the bathroom, but host was quick to address. “The house is exactly as described and is impressive, we loved the house and property, it was a highlight of our trip. As a bonus we had several monkeys climbing in the trees on the property. It's a longer drive then we expected to excursions around La Fortuna but we would stay at this property again when we return. The communication with the owner (Carol) was excellent, highly recommend for visiting La Fortuna area.”

“The Villa was wonderful. The grounds were like a botanical garden. We saw wildlife, howler monkeys, toucans and numerous birds, from the patio! It's location was perfect. The proximity to adventures and local restaurants was ideal. We would definitely stay here again. ”

“While the monkeys seemed overwhelming at first, they were fun to watch and not a problem. We loved the layout and the spacious rooms. We could find solitude while still enjoying family gathering space. Its location provides quick access to numerous activities from the Cloud Forest , to a waterfall hike, to zip lining, to breakfast at the bottom of the driveway, to coffee options to town. There are a lot of steps! ”

“Our family loved staying here. The space theme was very fun for our young kids to explore. The location made you feel like you were in the jungle, and we had some bird wildlife sightings from the porch, but is actually very close to the main area of town and all the main activities in the area. Daniela was very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend. ”
